    I’ve been watching S5 Max prices since the end of last year. It seemed like in 2020 you could get Au version for sub $700 but nothing in 2021.

      I'm starting to think its purely added to the table here to show just how good value the Dreame models (due to the price difference) are with perhaps no real interest to actually get S5 Max Sales.

      happy D9 customer since 6 months (PP $399) . just waiting for Google assist support (works with Alexa).
      but I heard people complaining abt map resetting, haven't had issue so far. YMMV

        Awesome, Im keen for a D9 too. Can I ask how big of an area it can vacuum and is it all the same flooring throughout your home? Mine has wood, carpet and tiles, not sure if it can handle them all.

      Biggest issue with my d9 is forgetting the maps and screwing them up. I suspect the whole line is rife with mapping problems. Wouldn't be a Xiaomi device without some sort of software disaster.

      The bargain is the Dreame F9 and D9 respectively, the S5 Max is only listed as a basis of comparison, albeit likely cheaper elsewhere atm, they’re only comparing with their own offering, either way the Dreame vacuums are all time lows at this price so far as I can tell. Can vouch for the D9 very good quality/price ratio when compared with relatively expensive competitors such as the S5 Max

    OP, I bought a Dreame D9 a few months ago and have had ongoing intermittent issues where the vacuum becomes confused and gets stuck in a loop, where it vacuums the same area over and over again. This doesn't happen every time but often enough. I'm running the latest firmware as well. What do you suggest that I do? Do you know when the next firmware update is being released?

    Any advice for me the one who stuck with Kogan's order for D9. They rescheduled my order to 21st April to be sent out and gave me $20 voucher for that. I don't mind waiting but keep seeing these nice deal passing over and over is a bit frustrating. And who knows if Kogan they gonna reschedule my order again?

    I had zero interest in Afterpay but I was willing to sign up to get this. It couldn't verify my driver's licence and there's no way I'm giving a private company a second form of government ID for a vacuum cleaner.

    Hey Gearbite - any update on new firmware for D9? My Map has reset twice this week and lost everything - super frustrating as it takes a bit of time setting up all the rooms the way we want them… love it when it's working well but pretty useless if I have to keep doing this every week - cheers
