So I am trying to make a purchase through eBay and I purchase a swap gift card through ShopBack.
Thew purchase of the swap card goes fine but I can't redeem it. It keeps coming up with check your first 6 digits.
Now I can check the balance through Swap website just not redeem it on their website.
Anyone else having problem like this.
I have sent them a message so will now wait 1-2 business days to see what the problem is.
I was speaking to shopback support and in the end they said they have had several customer reports and the same error in the past 30 minutes.
i have the same issue - the issue with the swapyourgiftcard not shopback i believe, since the balance shows correctly but unable to perform swap via their website.

I went out and got swap giftcards from bigw, same error so the issue isn't exclusive to shopback gift cards.
Absolutely bummed by this. Was hoping to purchase one of the few remaining products on eBay but unable to swap the gift card for the same issue - “ Please check the first 6 digits of your card.”. Unbelievable. Keep us posted OP. I’ve also sent an inquiry for this issue.

Argh, I got that error but they've deducted the amount from my swap gift card.
I have the same error, also bought celebration swap gift card from shopback.
I used my Kogan VISA card. What type did you use?
ANZ Debit.
Doesn't matter what card was used to pay, I did a check balance from swap your gift card and I can see the $250 amount loaded in there is accurate so I know the transaction has gone through successfully.

What denomination did you get? I had to get $250 since $100 and $50 were sold out
150 just one, and from CR not SB
and used that amount right away, $26 left all good

Hey guys, the site appears to be working again. Refreshed it and this time it loaded with gift card number and pin as opposed to just the “enter gift card number”. I’ve successfully swapped $500 into eBay gift card.

Okay I made an order for ebay gift card.
It originally came up as error and try again in 10 mins.
I just received a confirmation email saying "Your eGifts will be sent to you via email within 24 hours."
Getting closer.
Got the same. A gamble whether I'll get the gift card first or if the items in my ebay cart will be sold out haha
I have checked the swap balance and it is now $0 so order may have gone through.
Yeah mine went through but still waiting for the ebay gift card still. Have confirmation of order but no card.
I still haven't received mine yet. Let me know if any of you have received yours.

Got mine instantly but not via email, after I click order, the next page had a link to the eGift Card.
EDIT: also got the email with GC details pretty much instantly too.

I will wait a bit longer and if no gift cards arrive I will purchase with afterpay legitimately so items I want are not gone. I can always use ebay gift cards at a later time when they turn up (after the sale ends).
The 24 hour email sounds like they have run out of the ability to generate ebay gift cards temporarily due to huge demand from ebay afterpay sale and now the bigw offer.

has anyone tried to buy 10 and then another 10 on another transaction and worked?

Still haven't received my ebay gift cards from the error "Sorry your order cannot be processed at the moment. Please try again in 10 minutes."
I got a respond back saying they resent the gift card to my email address and it should take 15-30 mins. It has now been 4 hours and still nothing.
I've replied back but definitely no chance it will come before the afterpay voucher expires. I've swapped more vouchers since and they came instantly. So I guess these can be saved for next ebay deal.

I haven't received my ebay gift card as well since the error. I contacted them via the online form on Saturday but have not got any reply yet. And there's no contact number to speak to a person.
I finally got my gift card this morning. Took an entire week.
They've even closed off my case before I can respond back lol previously they just kept asking me to check my mailbox and junk/spam but left it as open.

Merged from Celebration Swap Gift Card Error - "Please Check The First 6 Digits of Your Card."
I've also bought celebration swap gift card from shopback and when I put the card into https://swapyourgiftcard.com.au/ I get this error:
"Please check the first 6 digits of your card."
When I go to check the balance of the card, I can see I have the amount loaded in there.
I did a search of the error message and all the results were referral for AMEX, where you need the first 6 digits of the card.
Can anyone help?
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the comments. There is currently an issue with swap gift card website. Any cards purchased will have this error regardless if you bought it from ShopBack or BigW.
