Crap, Sony automatically renewed me yesterday. I didn't realise my setting was on automatically renew. I always turn these things off. Sometimes I suspect it gets turned back on when you manually renew. I don't have my ps5 from EB and traded in my PS4 to them. Explained the situation to Sony customer service. All I got from them was there's no cooling off period with renewals. Only with new signups. Not happy with EB or Sony at all.
Twice I’ve had great support with them regarding renewals. Try calling again, you might get someone more understanding.
There's certainly something that auto turns on the auto-renew, as I disabled my renewal a few weeks back so that I could shop around and see if anything comes up. I recall this as I cancelled my Fortnite Sub thingy at the same time.
Lo and behold - yesterday it auto renewed…

When you say online multiplayer. Is it something like multiplayer on fifa 21 specifically where i can play with my friends who has ps plus across the country?. Or do i need to purchase ea membership too on top of that?? Sorry for noob question
