12 Months PlayStation Plus $59.95 (Was $79.95) @ PlayStation Store

1210

For those that prefer to buy their PS Plus subscriptions through the Playstation store.

T&Cs.

For those that are brave, you can pick up the same PS Plus subscription through Turkey for 180TL (~$A 32.38). The Turkish PS+ sub is NOT transferable to a AU PS+ account, however the free monthly games and online benefits may be utilised by AU PSN accounts on the same console. (Credit to HUKD).

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

  • Does EB price match either the PS store or JB so I can get the carrots for future trade in value bump

  • No luck with the double discount this year hey :(

    • Why not buy two? 🌮

      • +1

Last year they accidentally stacked the discount, was $44.95 per year I think.

  • Is it possible to buy it now but redeem it in January?

    • +2

yes. You can redeem the code in the future. I bought one earlier in the year (March) and redeemed yesterday.

    • +2

Actually, sorry if you wish to do this you would need to buy from Amazon or Jbhifi to get a code you can apply later. If you buy direct from the playstation store the subscription would commence immediately:

    • +1

Not when buying from PlayStation store. It will automatically add to your account (happened to me in August).

If you want to redeem later buy from retail store that sends you a code (EB, JB, Amazon etc).

  • Got it thanks OP

  • Bought the 12-month membership last week through the store for $80. You think they are able to refund it so I can purchase this one?

    • Same here.

      • +1

Just read up on their website, they can refund subscriptions within 14 days of purchase.

"After purchasing a subscription through PlayStation Store, you have 14 days to request a refund. However, we may reduce your refund amount based on how much you have used the service. For example, if a player buys a PlayStation Plus 12-Month Membership and requests a refund seven days after the purchase date, the refund amount may be reduced to reflect any use of the subscription, such as playing online, downloading monthly games, using cloud storage etc."

Just need to contact them through https://www.playstation.com/en-au/support/contact-us/

Great find bro. Just bought it a few days ago for the PS5. Will contact them tomorrow and see what happen.

  • Maybe if I got a ps5 I would buy this. Till then, I think I’ll pass.

    • +3

      Well der

    • +5

While that sounds sensible, do bear in mind that by the time you get a PS5, this deal won't be around.

  • Is it worth waiting for discounted PS gift cards in the Black Friday sales and stacking these with this discount?

Do PS gift cards usually come up on sale around black Friday?

    • Better off buying discounted gift cards for JB, EB or Amazon and buying the subscription from there.

  • Does anyone know if this can be purchased without redeeming immediately?

    • It can not. It will immediately apply 12 months subscription to your account.

    • Just buy a code from EB or JB

    • It will stack though meaning the 12 months don't start until your current subscription ends

    • -2

Yes. You don't have to redeem immediately. I just activated mine that I bought in May this year.
