Special Terms

Important: Ensure "In Partnership with Cashrewards" or "Cashrewards" branding logo is displayed on each page of your booking. Your sale will not track and will not be attributed to Cashrewards if logo is not present. Your Booking.com confirmation email must also show this and claims will not be accepted if not present. Use of any Booking.com refer-a-friend links, or any coupons and/or incentive offers/links (including Amex/Mastercard/Visa discounts) will invalidate any cashback and/or any cashback claims, including our cashback guarantee, unless specifically listed on this site.

The purchase amount will display in EUR in your My Rewards, however the cashback amount is converted to AUD at current conversion rates.

Cashback is eligible on accommodation bookings only. Car rentals, flights, and non-accommodation bookings are ineligible for cashback.

Cashback is ineligible on bookings made via the Booking.com App.

You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new booking/transaction.

  • Beware, if "Cashrewards" logo for whatever reason does not appear on the booking confirmation page, like in my case, CR will not pay any cashback no mater what.

      I had same experience. They didn't count my booking for cashback eligibility.

        It’s really quite simple. If the Cashrewards branding is on every booking.com page after clicking out from Cashrewards, your booking will track. If it’s not, means you have clicked away from CR or have a 3rd party plugin like AdBlock, uBlock, Honey installed, opened other tabs, searched via Google etc.

        Feel free to test it, and you’ll find I’m right. Go via the CR app or use an incognito window on desktop browser. You will see the branding right through all the way to checkout & payment, including your confirmation email. If you don’t see it, something is amiss at your end and will not track. At least you know prior to even submitting payment details that it will fail and you can try again via a different browser etc.

        Booking.com will not pay us unless the above is true, and any claims will not be actioned by them. It’s what makes them one of the best tracking stores, as there’s never a dispute re attribution when you can actually see the branding. It’s all mentioned in the terms on the CR merchant page and includes screenshots. Thanks.

  • Can you get cashback on bookings you’ve put on reserve and haven’t paid for yet?

    • Yes, but only paid out once you've completed the transaction/stay (usually gets processed say 2-3 months post stay). The cashback transaction should register upon booking (~1 day)

    I feel this is a bit of hot and miss with cashrewards, given that it gets converted in EU dollars and the cashback for some reasons does not turn out to be the exact percentage that is mentioned in the deals. I would prefer to go with other option like current deal with Mastercard- 'Master10' which offers 10% discount upfront and do not have to wait for 3 months post your stay for the cashback to be approved in your account.

    Definitely check the prices without using cash back and then compare it to after clicking through cashrewards. A lot of the time after clicking through cashrewards the price is jacked for hotels…
