These are excellent, I've had mine for a month or so now. If I wreck them by dropping them in front of the rideon or something, I'd buy another pair immediately.

And this is a great price.

      Is the microphone any good?

        😂

      • +1

I have these and yep, good enough for calls. No complaints from the person on the other end

      • depends on external noise, people have trouble hearing me over the machines and hand tools within the factory

  • Love that exposed wire

    • +1

      That's the bluetooth antenna

      • No, it's the audio feed from one side to the other.

    • It's a flaw. My first pair lost connection due to the wire being pulled from the earpiece

Nah, try get it from AU instead of US. Ordered one from US earlier and eventually had to return it as the box was not sealed and there was not even plastic bags wrapping the unit. Making it worse, there were dusts on the unit.

I got a pair on the weekend.

They have better sound than the Taxtix ones, but not as comfortable.

      • What are they like wearing over a hat?

        • I didn't try…

I think it would be uncomfortable.

        • They're heavy. I wear them over a hat for padding 😆. Rest the over the head hoop on the brim

  • +1

These were constantly dropping out for me, and when they did work the sound quality was ordinary. I don't normally return stuff but these went back.

You probably got a faulty set.

I only got mine the other day, and so far they have been pretty good.

      • No they were not faulty, the bluetooth is not up to par. These are built to a price and not what I would call quality in anyway. Not worth the money

        • No they were not faulty, the bluetooth is not up to par.

          Mine is working fine.

Maybe I got lucky with a pair over par?

  • I have two pairs, one for work and one for doing the mowing. Love them. They are VERY fragile however so try not to drop them.

    • +3

its amazing to me they are fragile when they are supposed to be used by tradies on worksites!!!

      • The now fixed and broken apir is my home pair. The plastic sleeve that holds teh earphone to the steel headstrap banding will snap if dropped just right. Cable ties strengthen it.

      • Maybe look into these then? I found a pair from bunnings at half price, used them for my motorcycle rides.

They have many diff types though.

I've never had anything with such poor bluetooth, will literally drop out if i have the phone in the wrong pocket.

    • I have this problem too with some devices. I thought it was them, but I think it's my phone having a highly directional bluetooth antenna.

      What phone do you have?

  • +4

I just use my cheap Bluetooth in-ear earbuds and some cheap over-ear earmuffs. Rock solid setup and not worried about dropping or breaking them.

    • +1

i was using that but migrated to these, i have been careful and not thrown them around and they have been heaps better, imo more comfortable than ear buds & earmuffs combo. They probably should be cheaper than they are but ultimately there is many other options.

      • Glad they're working for you. My earbuds are amazing (I wear a separate pair when commuting to work) and my earmuffs are super comfortable. I'd considered getting a pair of these ones posted here, but from the comments it seemed like a bad idea - I really don't want to have to baby my PPE.

    • Do you mind letting me know what in ear buds you use? Need a pair that are low profile and have excellent battery life.
Worth noting is these 3Ms are Micro USB so it's always a pain to charge

    • I just use my cheap Bluetooth in-ear earbuds and some cheap over-ear earmuffs

I tried that but they don't have enough battery life for a day out in the garden.

These earmuffs however are rated at about 30 hours.

      • That's a fair call. I have a few pairs of buds I can rotate through, but have never had to as long as they're charged up from the get go.

    • Do you have any bluetooth connection issues with your earbuds enclosed inside earmuffs?

  • Anyone think Bunnings will price match?

    • It's unlikely to against the US. They're hit and miss against Amazon AU.

  • Don't forget cashback. Because its classed under 'Home improvement' it gets 6% or $4 back.
