Cheapest Source for Compressed Air Cans ATM?

I used to cringe at paying $10 a can but since COVID I've been finding it hard to find anywhere that sells it for less than $20 and that's if they even have stock. Harvey Norman have it at $10 but no stock anywhere and staff have said it gets bought out as soon as it goes on shelves. Kmart stocks cans for $8 but the only stores with stock are a few suburbs out and I don't drive, making the trip would negate the savings.

Is there anywhere I can stock up on a can or two for less than $10? If I can't I might just end up buying a MetroVac finally.

Have you tried the local dollar store/king/avenue/whatever shops?

  • If you use compressed air often enough, why don't you look into a mini air compressor?

    • I don’t though, maybe once every couple of months. A can usually lasts me a whole year so hard to justify the $160 on a MetroVac.

Ebay seems to be your best bet.

    • Cheers didn’t even think to look there for some reason.

  • You might want to try price matching Harvey Norman with your local Officeworks if they stock the same product. I did this at my local Officeworks for a can of compressed air using there price beat guarantee some months back with no issue.
