FBS is a ForEx trader so there are no shares but CHESS is ASX specific. My understanding is no other country has a similar set up and they run custodian systems ie the shares are not held in your name. No different to buying US listed shares through an Aussie broker.

I'm still not touching this "deal" though lol. ForEx trading is the express train to Poorsville.

EDIT: Regulated in Belize. Big yikes from me dawg.

  • Sorry, but it's a big 'NO DEAL' from me, just like from that show Andrew O'Keefe hosted many years ago.

It's not a scam but comes across as scammy because of the odd OzBargain username posting the deal, lol.

    Blah blah blah.

    This looks so scammy

  • Are you on OCAU @freemoneyhunter?

    • No, I thought it was an ok deal, they give you $50 and apparently you can use that to trade and make money up to $200 if your lucky and I guess then take it out as it gets transferred to a live account then.

Feels like a bookie's signup offer because the only way to cash out is to do some super risky stuff

  • I'm negging this deal, because it's not really a "signup bonus", and it annoys me that it is being advertised as a "bonus".

You cannot withdraw the "Welcome Bonus". You can only withdraw any profits you make from trading it. And, if you don't make any profits, then you get nothing. And, making any kind of profit from Forex trading is not exactly an easy task.
