    Actually they have released the 7+ a few months ago, the 7 is about a year old now.

  The problem is i7 price is soooo exponentially (and disproportionally) expensive vs i5.

    The i7 is only $80 more than the otherwise matched i5. Adding storage is what's expensive. Over $400 to add an extra 256Gb of storage is outrageous.

  They are rubish and have battery bulging issues after some time. And Microsoft don't care. See the Microsoft community page and lots of peoples are experiencing the same issue.

    Whooaah! That's actually an eye opener. Now I am thinking twice. Or maybe I should go with Thinkpad X12.

    My Samsung Galaxy Book 2018 is still going strong after 3 years but I have been limiting the charge to 85% so maybe that helps.

    Had surface pro 6 since released and after dropping it multiple times (still functioning perfectly just cracked screen) I bought the surface pro 7+ couldn't be happier.

      You are lucky mate, I have so many other friends also used surface and they had the same battery bulging issue. The screen from left hand side will detach from the board when this happens
