  • And comes with a free accessory with purchase. Good find OP

  • Surface Pro 7 lineup to make space for Pro 8

It seems like “yesterday” when 7 was out… must be getting long in the tooth 😆

    • Actually they have released the 7+ a few months ago, the 7 is about a year old now.

  • The problem is i7 price is soooo exponentially (and disproportionally) expensive vs i5.

      So get i5 then?

    • The i7 is only $80 more than the otherwise matched i5. Adding storage is what's expensive. Over $400 to add an extra 256Gb of storage is outrageous.

      • Hear Hear!

        Maybe worthwhile to wait… :-)

  • They are rubish and have battery bulging issues after some time. And Microsoft don't care. See the Microsoft community page and lots of peoples are experiencing the same issue.

    • Whooaah! That's actually an eye opener. Now I am thinking twice. Or maybe I should go with Thinkpad X12.

My Samsung Galaxy Book 2018 is still going strong after 3 years but I have been limiting the charge to 85% so maybe that helps.

Had surface pro 6 since released and after dropping it multiple times (still functioning perfectly just cracked screen) I bought the surface pro 7+ couldn't be happier.

You are lucky mate, I have so many other friends also used surface and they had the same battery bulging issue. The screen from left hand side will detach from the board when this happens

  • Is this expired? Prices seem to be back to its original
