No one likes to think about being in an emergency. But, if something does go wrong, it's important to make sure your pet will be taken care of.

RSPCA Victoria's FREE Pet Safety Kit contains this window sticker, which will let emergency services workers know you have pets on the premises.

You'll also get an emergency wallet card and key ring to write your details on, as well as a magnetic booklet for your fridge that's filled with advice (like how to keep your pet calm during fireworks or storms, what human foods to avoid, and more).

While we hope you never need to use this kit, we are confident it will give you some extra peace of mind.

  Having requested this last year, filling in the form online you will only be asked for your telephone number.

  You will then receive a telephone call, where you can give your address for the kit to be sent.

  You’ll then be asked to make a suggested amount monthly donation to assist the RSPCA. If you say no, they’ll suggest a lower amount.

  They will still send you the kit, however you will be put on a list to be rung every 6 months or so asking for more money.
