    Should support it out of the box according to https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Motherboard/A520I-AC-rev-1x/supp…

    If not, it has qflash so you can update BIOS without needing a CPU.

    I just grabbed on with the intention of throwing in a 3600 in a few weeks when I upgrade to a 5800X.

    A520 is an entry level chipset, and OC an entry level 5000 series CPU has little performance boost anyway
