Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset $299 (Normally $399) + $5.95 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ EB Games

70

Found this deal when looking for wireless gaming headsets.

Not very often that EB Games has the cheapest but this time they do.
I price matched to JB and used giftcards bought at a discount to make it even cheaper.

EB Games also has the wired version for $239.

  • I’ve heard the quality on these don’t justify the price. Can anyone vouch for this?

I've got one, paid more than this, love it. No quality issues for me.

      • Thanks, might reconsider then

      • How is the range?

I have the original G Pro Wireless from 2 years ago and I still use it till today. Battery life is excellent and weight is a game changer for me. It still clicks nicely and the scroll wheel still feels very nice. The only wear I see is the palm section of the mouse where I can see marks when I wipe it with a damp cloth. When it is dry, I can even notice anything. The plastic material still feels very nice and matte.

This is a headset not a mouse.

        • Whoops! Sorry, such confusing names!

    • Haven’t used them on my PC yet but the build quality is really nice, and they fit my head really nicely, no ear touching. They also block out a fair bit of sound considering they’re not NC.
I guess time will tell if they’re worth the money. Unfortunately the companies just haven’t nailed good wireless headsets. Seems to me that if you want wireless you have to compromise on something else (mic quality, comfort, battery) - but these seemed to be the best all round in terms of those things.

      • When plugged to Ps4 I found volume is a bit low even on max volume.

On pc it's fine, I settle at about half volume

    • got this for super cheap, it very good. only thing is if you have a big head, try it on first. however, everything else is excellent.

    • Had the plastic that holds the headband to the cups break in 2 months. Cheap materials for the price. Only paid 299 for mine. But they will be getting replaced.

With the leather pads i get a bit of pressure on my ears. Havent tried the memory foam type yet

      • Had the exact same thing happen, Logitech support gave me a full refund and let me keep them so not the worst outcome. I superglued them back together.

    • For me, anything that's even half expensive, if it has fake leather on it, it's a hard pass from me. I've never has the stuff last longer than two years before it starts to crack/flake. I have had my Fidelio X2s for years and they're as good as the day I got them. That's what I expect from $200+ headphones!

      • This is true, but the trick is you just buy replacement cushions and headbands on amazon or ebay and swap them over and keep using the otherwise perfect headphones for years longer.

  • So, you got jb gift cards for >6% off? Where from?

    • Classified section here, gumtree or FB marketplace and then I just filled in the rest with 3% cash back on ShopBack.

These are excellent headphones. Battery lasts easily 20+ hours on one charge. Mic quality is fantastic with heaps of options to adjust through blue software. Next best thing to having a separate mic.

Cushion is very comfortable for extended period of use and comes with a spare set. Sometimes i forget I'm wearing these when I'm out of a game and just browsing internet, till auto-off mode switches them off.

Have used them both on PC and PS5, works the same on both, except no Blue software for PS5.

  • These are great pair of headphones, i use them for both games and work call.

Definitely worth paying more foe wireless version as you can just unplug usb dongle and connect to another PC
