Optus Realme C3 Prepaid Mobile Phone - Frozen Blue - $159 (Was $199) @ Target

90

Not quite the cheapest I’ve seen this phone, but definitely a good deal. I’m planning to grab one today for my partner as a replacement for a stolen phone that was exactly the same model - that’s how good it is! Fingerprint unlock, NFC, good battery life… for the price, you can’t fault it, IMHO.

Includes an Optus pre-paid SIM with $30 credit.

Blazing Red model also available.

  • Your link to the red model is not showing up.

    • Fixed, sorry about that.

OP you might want to add that it includes $30 recharge.

This is pretty good, too. It has NFC, unlike the Aquos https://www.target.com.au/p/vodafone-lg-k42-4g-64gb-prepaid-… . Or, for about 10 more dollars, you'll get the C3 unlocked from eBay or Amazon.

    • So unless you can get this unlocked for free you're better off paying $10 more & buying it from eBay or Amazon.

Unless you plan on staying on Optus/Optus reseller for the life of the phone, then yes of course.

Remember, if its locked it'll take longer to get Android OS updates or you may never get them at all. So if the difference is very little, better to get it unlocked.

  • Nokia 2.3 for $139 or this for a Nanna? She already has a Vaya account/SIM.

Although I personally like the pure Android One on the Nokia's, I think your nanna might prefer this Realme C3 better for a few

extra $ you get bigger screen, twice the storage and 1GB more ram plus faster CPU Soc and software wise on Android 10 with decent skin.

Cheers. Got one today, seem pretty decent for the loot.

The stock levels are not accurate, it said there was no stock of the blue ones at Blacktown target but there was at least 3.
