      Should have waited.

If he waits another 4 years he might get them for $2 in the clearance bin.

    • +1

Yeh but, back then they were 90MB/s writes.

    • good things come to those who wait..

  • Does this work well with Nintendo Switch?

    • Yes, I have this exact one in my switch and works perfectly. Only issue is it is filling up with a lot of games and screenshots so I'm actually looking to get a larger size.

      • thanks..

    • yes.

      Why don't you google it?
What if someone said yes. Would you believe it?? Even though they don't own a Switch.

my very own tips to not keep buying:
when you buy one cheap if you dont need it dont open the seal, just hang it around your neck.
when this deal coming up again just look at the sealed package usually it will make you not interested to buy again

You are a genius! I always have this problem. From now on I will take your advice and hopefully save myself from spending money on things I 'might' need just because they are cheap 😅

Those dell monitors will cause a mighty kink in your neck….

  • Is this standard price now?

    • my thoughts exactly

  • i expect we'll see this price from Amazon soon

  • We come this far in flash storage in just 15 years.

  • Is this good for blackvue dashcam?

    • +1

      Yes!

    • you'd do better with a Samsung Pro Endurance or Sandisk High Endurance

Keep in mind 60MB/s write speed is not enough for newer cameras recording in 4K, such as GoPro 9, DJI drones, mirrorless/DSLR cams, etc.

    • What card is recommended for a DJI Mavic Mini 2 to record in 4K? I thought the U3 cards were fast enough.

    • I have one of these in my mavic mini and works fine. But I think the sandisk extreme may be suitable for those recording in 4k. I even have one of those in my samsung phone that records in 4k works fine and my goproes

    • +3

You are mixing up MB/s and Mbps.
This card has V30 standard, which guarantees minimum sustained write speed of 240Mbps, and which is sufficient for most 4K recording applications.
This card is fast enough for almost all devices that has a native Micro SD slot.
For Mirrorless, it’s another story, and a faster card might be needed, but again, for GoPros / Drones, this card is good enough and there is no point to get expensive UHS-II Micro SD cards when their host devices don’t even support it.

      • Thank you. I got one for my new Mavic Mini 2. Was getting errors on my old C10 Samsung card.

You're right and that was incredibly dumb of me, wtf :D

Cameras/video/drone is my hobby and I'm in IT, what a massive derp moment lol. Sorry.

        • You need to sit in a corner and think about this colossal blunder.

It's 2021 and Johnny Mnemonic would be very unhappy to know that instead of dumping all his childhood memories, he could of just walked into JB Hi Fi…

Also the headphone jack at the back of his head must have gotten loose to the point that when the Matrix was ready, the size of the input hole had become massive. Should have painted his tooth blue and gone wireless…

  • I use these on my GoPro. they are pretty good.

  • Are these fast and reliable enough to store photos on a phone?

    • Yes

    • Do your own backup.

  • I use this in my dash cam for more than a year now, so far it is good.

  • I use this in my Cowon J3 (have to format as FAT32).
    Does the job.

  • Got one thanks OP
