For those who don't know about the movie here is the trailer. It is streaming free with a $15 USD HBO MAX Subscription (no free trial) which can be subscribed to via various ways with relative ease.

In Australia this movie is only available to be watched in the Cinemas as HBO MAX is not available but can be accessed via a compatible VPN or Smart DNS Proxy service .

If this is a deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/605814 and this is a deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/606450 then by Mathematical Induction this is also a deal.

Users who wish to block "Additions to Subscription Services" can do so by adding SUBS to their deals customisation. * Xbox Game Pass, Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus etc. are considered additions to subscription services. Could have sworn it was Karen.

      I thought it was Mothra.

    • There very much is a scene that you could dub that over near the end though tbh.

Not sure if that goes against the spoilers rules or, but it's true.

  • I don't have a US card for payment, any solution?

      1. You can make a US PayPal account and in most cases it will accept your AUS Card. Then using the card you can subscribe in app on google play store or App store. there are other ways too

As someone who bothered to pay to see it, without spoiling anything, I will simply say

I don't know how a movie where big monkey fights big dinosaur who burps lazers could be disappointing when I know exactly what I'm getting into, yet it disappointed me nonetheless.

    • Thanks, not even going to bother dl it.

    • YEAH…. you might never know if it's already in the production for the next phase with pacific rim robots joining the crowd…

  • Can someone teach me how to do this? Any VPN to recommend? If I want to cast it to TV I'd need to download the app and also VPN from my mobile?

    So three options:
    1) sit in a dirty room next to strangers with recycled air during a pandemic.
    2) jump through hoops for the privilege to spend money on a movie.
    3) quick and easy piracy.

I wonder what people will choose and how much the studio will bitch…

  • Do you just require the international VPN for signing up or do you need to run a VPN every time you watch. I had also been considering the Indian Disney + Hotstar, which is dirt cheap.

You will need a VPN all the time while using the service regardless of how you signup however you’ll only need a VPN while signing up if you do it directly on HBO MAX website or through its app but no VPN required if you do it through Amazon prime video usa

  • I'm not seeing it in Hulu as of yet.
The 2019 Godzilla movie shows up in the search results, but need HBOMax to watch.

Maybe it's delayed? Or, more likely, I'm doing something wrong

It’s only on HBO MAX App not on Hulu app. However the confusing part is that You can pay for HBO MAX through hulu

  • Just watched it. Dreadful load of crap and I generally like Godzilla movies!
