      There is no way to buy a mattress sight unseen without trying it properly, Some people need soft, others need firm, some need it to be plush, others with as little give as possible. It's ok if you're 18 to buy any mattress and be ok, but not once you reach middle aged.

        We understand that people may feel different from individual people. Mattress Firmness is calcualted with BMI scale, which is a way of rating mattress firmness from soft to firm.

        Soft: maximum softness with lots of sink; this type of extra plush mattress is rare
        Medium to Soft: quite soft and plush with definite sink.
        Medium: common firmness level that offers a middle-ground with some plushness but more limited sink.
        Medium Firm: much harder mattress with only limited softness and sink.
        Firm: no softness, plushness or sink; this type of extra firm mattress is rare.
