    I bought the 129 duo gps for $144 few months ago. $190 doesn’t seem that good?

      Wazza, I'd say that was grey market overseas stock as it is far below cost price from Viofo Australia. Our stock is locally sourced from Viofo with local warranty and a Tax Invoice. We are an Australian owned and operated family business.

      Yes, but you need to wire it in.

      Works very well. Can set time for it to record (so it doesn't drain the battery if you don't use the car often but the wiring harness also comes with a voltage protector).

      BTW, if anyone has any concerns about the 129 Pro Duo, don't. It's an excellent unit. I have it in 2 cars and they have been faultless. The only thing is that the wiring is quite bulky so if you want thin wiring you're better off with the Blackvue units (at twice the price). Quality of recording is very good in 1440 and 4K. It also records in h265.

            @soupratt: If I get the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K GPS with the hard-wire kit, do you have any recommendations where I get my existing setup removed and this installed?
            I'm happy to pay a bit for the sake of convenience and not breaking anything.

    Hi OP, I hardwired my A119s. Can I use my existing wire to plug into the a129 pro duo/duo? Looks like power requirements are the same. Thx

      Not OP but power to the front camera is the same. There's an additional power out from the front unit that powers the back unit

    Anyone know any good dash cams where you can see the license plate during the day and have park recording? I'm checking on youtube on the VIOFO A129 Pro Duo 4K and I still cant see the license plate properly … which is pretty bad.

      You tube does compress a lot, so you'll have to view the original video. Or bump it up in quality.
