Can't seem to find Q1200 anywhere.

Isn't that only available at a Weber specialist? You won't find them at DJs.

Doesn't appear to include the premium range…

What is the point of shopping at David Jones if you can't buy premium products???

  • Thanks OP, got myself the family q cover and flat plate.

thanks OP - I've been hanging to get a portable weber q 2000 for a while, jumped on this as the price was great and easy to use rewards points to redeem some DJ vouchers online, many thanks!

Did you look at the Q2200?

      https://www.weber.com/AU/en/barbecues/weber-q-range/weber-q-…

It has a taller lid for roasting and has a built in thermometer…

      • Yep sure did. Was not worth the $70 premium IMHO.

I have the q3200 at home which is great so very familiar with it.

Realistically the thermometer is useless cos your only ever going to run it on L, M or H which can be easily worked out.

The lid, while would be nice taller is 3cm different. Roasts will still work out fine without it.

Only thing that I’m missing is the electric ignition but not too fussed. They have a lifetime warranty anyway.

I love my Weber’s but refuse to pay some (profanity) dealer full RRP for a few mods. It’s against the ozbargain way. lol

          Depends what you cook…

Also, it's showing only as $10 more than the list price for the Q2000 at DJs…

          • @jv: not sure, I paid $398 with this, and the q2000 is regularly on sale or available at a discount.

RRP for the Q2200 is $479, which is never on sale.

@Christoshizz: Richmond Heat&Grill had a sale on a few weeks back on all bbqs.
