Belkin 3-in-1 Wireless Charger for Apple Magsafe 15W $179 (Was $219) + $15 Shipping @ AusPCMarket

150

Hey OzBargainers!

Found this awesome deal for the Belkin 3-in-1 Wireless Charger for Apple Magsafe in Black.

Reviews look pretty awesome for this, on the pricey side but from what I found it’s the only 3 in 1 wireless charger that supports MagSafe 15W charging while also charging two other devices perfectly at the same time and is also Apple certified.

The RRP is $219 but AusPCMarket is selling it for $179. $15 for standard tracked postage.

I was able to get JB HiFi to price match for $179!

Congrats on buying a phone charger for $179 I guess.

  • isnt it nice to be rich….

  • ahahaha $179

  • I have no need for a 3 in 1, as I only have one of those. You can buy similar on Ali for under $30, but they don't come with a two year warranty or a $2500 connected equipment warranty. So certainly not for everyone, and I will keep using USB cables to charge, but I can see why some might be interested.

  • I think I will stick to my $3 charging cable

I have this charger - yes it is expensive, but there isn't anything on the market that does this as cleanly or as well as this product.

It means you can just slap your phone onto it and enjoy fast charging without plugging in a cable. It holds your phone at a nice angle to be able to see it without taking it off the charge - nice when you're lying in bed. It includes a good Apple Watch charger that you can use with any type of strap. The Airpods charger works well and is a basic Qi charger, so you can also charge other devices (I use mine to also charge my running shoe pod).

The overall look and feel is really premium. If you have a rats next of cables on your bedside table, this will clean it up nicely.

The only thing I'm worried about is if they drop Magsafe in the future - hopefully they will keep it in in the long run.

So overall, it is expensive, but could be worth it if you own an iPhone 12, Airpods and an Apple Watch and want the cleanest and fastest charging implementation on the market.

I approve of this message, and have the same experience. BOG ON.

      Agreed. +1

Well said Bog! I've been using it for a day only but I am loving this product! It's nice and sleek on my desk and you're right, the angle is perfect. Very happy with this purchase.

  • I appreciate that this might be a quality product. But,,, I would not spend 179 on a phone charging stand. NO. 😏

that's half a days pay. or even a whole days pay for some.

It's amazing the negging on this post for a $179 charger, while a Tesla Model S gets 2800+ positive votes. I don't think everyone is driving around in one of those.

    • -3

Ask Ozbargain. I don't recall of + voting a Tesla.

Seriously, this niche is for rich things.

  • Why neg vote. Just because one can not afford or see it worth the price doesn’t mean product is not up to the quality against price. Agreed it is a expensive charger. But as Bog said in previous comment, it a premium feel product and if it is listed the cheapest price on this website then I don’t see why people have to down vote.

premium feel product. how often do you feel your charger?. If i bought this, I would legit get my head chopped off.

      • Is just like toyota vs Mercedes. It gets you from place to place. Same with the charger. It is just a charger. It will just charge your phone. The rest i hope you understand.

Stick to cable, and save the $$$. There's nothing special with these wireless chargers, apart from its exuberant cost. Yeah so, Magsafe, but that's nothing unique… This charger has nothing that separates itself from others. It is inefficient with no cooling mechanism. That way the battery degrades faster as the heat is concentrated on the back of the device. No matter how much $$$$$$ you fork out for "premium feel" chargers, cables will always remain the most efficient means for charging.

        • Why neg vote. I've given a counterexample with reasoning. What's wrong with it?

Shoving the words "Quality" and "Premium Feel" is not representative of it's most important and intended purpose - charging.

          • @[Deactivated]: If it makes you feel any better, I haven’t neg voted your previous comment.

            • @fossilgem: XD. Don't mind, I don't earn cookies for this.

Appropriate modes to charge devices should not cost an exuberant amount of money. The only standing point of this is the tidiness/neatness. That's about it.

A $ Wireless charger in comparison to a $$$$ Wireless charger will not see much differences at all.

The efficiency will remain low. To compensate, it outputs higher watts, however that just results in more heat buildup which is fine for devices if their is appropriate cooling. Again, the efficiency between cable and wireless will never be matched.

    • 1 for MagSafe, Tidiness.
