Camel Price Check

Cheapest I've seen the blue model after you factor in 6% cashback at Cashrewards & free delivery with prime.
This watch pretty much owns the quartz diver style watch market in it's price range & well above. The only bad point is the lume isn't very strong but who cares for this price.

  • Nice, I'd definitely buy if I wore any jewelry

Serious question as there's been a lot of watches posted recently. This watch looks pretty similar to some of the Seiko watches posted, but this Casio is way cheaper. Is this just a brand name thing?

    • +5

This is a quartz model, most of the Seiko models posted have been automatics or solar.

And yes Casio are generally cheaper than Seiko if you were looking at 2 watches with the same specs.

Thanks! I’ll be honest I had to just Google all that and do a bit of reading (quartz vs automatic). I’ve never been much of a watch wearer but decided to buy that Casio G-shock watch you posted recently…. and now I want something a little bit more “dressy” for work. So I’ve bought this too 😂

        • G-steel range?

Quartz (and solar / kinetic) all all the way. Function over romance. I actually need to be places on time.

      • Well that's the thing, they don't have the same "specs" except maybe looking roughly the same.

    • You'll probably find this feels and looks a bit cheaper than a seiko worth several hundred dollars. Casio tend to attack the cheapest end of the market a lot more than seiko. Honestly though, these cheap casios look alright and are perfectly functional.

For what it's worth I love my casio g-shock.

    Looks like a rolex.

  • Isn't this basically a Seiko? Or is that the other way around?

      Neither

    Looks great for the price.

Thanks. I bought the black recently - gifted to my brother. Going to keep this one for myself

Great price. Used to have one but got rid of it as I already had blue dive watches in my collection from Seiko, Orient and Invicta.

Works really well with a 22mm navy NATO or perlon strap.

  • this is a seiko sbdc053 clone wtf

    • +1

Watches in this style are basically all rolex submariner/omega seamaster clones

  • For the price, this watch looks amazing in person. The Amazon picture doesn't do it justice.

  • Damn should of waited for this one than buying the black one

I don't think starbuy are the type of retailer to stock Grand Seikos?

Nice - I was too late for this one. I'm on holiday with my black one now 😊

  • man! i got the black but always wanted the blue, wonder if it will go on sale again

Back in stock June 13 & you can order it now but price has gone up to $84.86.
      Don't forget cashrewards.

      • thank-you! :)

Tempting. I just bought the black one and could not be happier, the amazon photos do not do it justice. Ordered a milanese strap to class it up.

Casio analog watches are underrated, i highly recommend this one.
