For those unaware, it's part of their 5% off tech stock via app campaign
I think no one bother to post Kogan deals because they are not too well received/voted on OB ;-)
I thought their prices (after 5% off) for the AirPods and Xiaomi air purifiers are quite ok if people are in the market for them now.

    • Better to just get price beat

      • Probably worth it for people who has Kogan credit or stack with discounted Kogan GC from SB.

$125 or $117 with the app. Not that much of a deal methinks

  • How would 2x of these compare to 1x Google Home Max? I have a Max already but looking to expand the selection

    • The Nest Audio has better sound than any of their previous speakers…. Except the Max. A pair of these combined with the Max would be fantastic though.

    • Google would have you believe that 2x Nest Audio speakers (preferably in stereo pair) are identical to one Home Max. I haven't seen a single review that confirms this.
In the beginning, I was determined to get a couple to conduct my own investigations. Sadly, the Assistant has been pissing me off lately so I've held off on acquiring any new speakers until Google addresses these issues.

      • i own a nest audio and have a listened to max's at friends houses, i can confirm there is no way a pair of these would be similar to a max. While it is a huge step forward over google home and mini's it the base is lacking, the mids are muddy, fine for a bedroom or study speaker not enough for a lounge/living space, i wish google would do minis with audio out like amazon do.

  • Cheers op! Just got one.

  • The max craps all over the nest. The max was decent value around sub 200.

The nest has good mids, but bass response leaves a lot to be desired.

    • Need a sub woofa bro for sick bass
But seriously it's probably a fair bit better than the nest mini (which I got for free) but prob only worth about $100. Maybe handy to use the nest in another room to save unlocking phone all the time.

Seems like the deal is over anyway.

I thought first trial was free with the $5 credit on signup?

Better off doing officeworks price beat $108.30.
don't really need it anyway but would be handy if it had a line in from the PC, could use Bose SoundLink for that I guess when don't feel like headphones.
