    sonic pls

  • aptx ones are tempting

  • Appears the mics on all of these aren't great for phone calls?

    • Been using Truecapsule 2 and Trueair2 for a month now. No issues so far with the mic.

    • +1

I have been using trueair2 for calls so far no problem of course not very very noise environment a little bit is fine. You have to find one with latest Qualcomm chip like QCC3040

I have the TrueAir2. Significantly better than the Dudios buds I also have, though still not fantastic.

Whilst people don't usually complain about the mic quality, if I switch from the TrueAir2 to the phone handset during a call it's usually met with something like "Woah! What'd you do? It sounds much better now!".

For me they're useable while indoors or in calm weather outdoors, but with even a light breeze I stop using them for the sake of the other person.

  • What's the noise cancelling on these like?

    • Noise cancelling on Truecapsule2 is great.

  • I have had connection issues with Truecapsule2 a couple of times. Like they got disconnected and turned off themselves while being connected. Anyone else had something similar?

  • Which of these is best for music?

  • Which of these is best for noise isolation — ie, to block out background sounds when listening?

  • Any better deal for Trueair2 White?

Price jack last week and give out 15% coupon, the same price as before.

  • I bought a pair of SoundPeats Sonic earbuds. They sound great for the price but I get a lot of intermittent dropouts. It happens in busy city areas, not at home, so obviously caused by interference. Sometimes the left, sometimes the right (depending which one I took out of the container first). Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not sure if it's working as designed or it's faulty, not sure if it's worth exchanging.

  • significant pairing issues on android with Truengine 3.

Well documented, beware before you try.

  • I'll say it again, I wouldn't recommend the Truewings headphones. I bought a pair just over a year ago and was 'blown away' by the quality of the sound for the price I paid. After less than 6 months the right ear piece stopped working intermittently and eventually stopped. I tried contacting AMR via Amazon and they made it difficult to claim the warranty so I gave up as it wasn't worth the hoops they make you jump. There's also a serious flaw in the design of the charging case. The ear rings touch when they sit in the charging case and it's difficult to keep them in position to charge. If you read the reviews on Amazon, I'm not the only one who has experienced these things. The Truewings showed so much promise at the beginning but as the saying goes 'You get what you pay for' with the Soundpeats Truewings. Soundpeats haven't even bothered to fix the problems and update these headphones since they were first released more than 12 months ago. I suppose they are disposable designs and they don't care if the quality of their products are poor! I recommend putting your money towards another brand.

    • I tried contacting AMR via Amazon

Did you try online chat with Amazon and see what they said?

I am not sure how to claim warranty with 3rd party seller on Amazon but if directly from Amazon they are very easy to refund.

Seems like there isn't a great soundpeats for both Music and Call, would of been willing to pay upwards of $80 to 100.

Lots of comments in different posts mentioning connection issues on Sonics / Truengine 3.

Is there a big sound difference for music between true air 2 and Truengine 3 SE?

If not might just get the True Air 2, they seem to be the most favoured.

    • If not might just get the True Air 2,

I have no problem with calls and music on trueair 2 because it is only semi in ear.

      • I have problem with eartips because my ear canals are small so maybe this would be better.

        • +1

          I have problem with eartips

In that case semi in-ear may be better for you. I also like Trueair 2 because of semi in-ear design.

At first you may feel it is going to fell out but actually it won't.
