i puchased wa Lobster today for $10 at coles they were the same product on sale at $20 during easter i assume they are on sale until sold out

              @DMFD: bluescope and infrabuild are a couple of larger ones with processing in Au and NZ but as they of course adhere to industry standards with regards to manufacturing, pollution and employee safety/wages they are not as fast as or cheap as China.
              infrabuild also recycle a lot of metal and would be great to see that increase
              who knows, maybe as a country we can collectively get our crap together and re/establish some key industries and be less reliant on others.

    I’m not a real seafood fan, but I tried one of those $20 lobsters the other day.
    For all the fuss, I wasn’t blown away. Didn’t taste of anything.

      I'm a seafood fan. I don't get it. Cooked prawn >> cooked lobster.
      Maybe raw would be different as you can season it. But boiled lobster has no taste.

        Boiling aint the issue, it's the freezing part that ruins Lobster & Crab (any cray or fish for that matter!). I've had fresh caught lobster & Crab many a time & it's awesomely sweet & tasty boiled then add a splash of vinegar & lemon. Hence why i cant go to a seafood restaurant, always disappointed..
