Very sharp price. Have this unit on ryzen 3500x and works very nicely.

Is that enough cooling for a 3500x? I would've gone with a 360mm AIO to be safe.

      • Ryzen 5 3500x - nah its more than capable, only an issue on 40 deg day with only evaporative cooling after a 2 hour session, but fan curve is fully customizable.
        All AIO have limits.

  • Who's still building a PC when the good graphic cards are all double RRP?

Edit. Holy Cow! Even my 1650 Super is now worth almost double what I paid for it.

    • 1070s are still going for like $500 plus, so crazy

      • I got my 3080 in Dec 2020 from MSY for like $1600 and now they are selling for $2199!! The chip shortage all over the world is making this crazy!

        • Incredible price…I figured there'd be a few week wait and I was going to be busy over Christmas…so I got a 2080 ti from an open box sale for $999 from shopping express, the day before the 3080 drop.

What a time to be alive right?

    • Bought an RX Vega 56 in 2017 for $640. Saw one go for sale on eBay yesterday for $800+

Waiting for that kraken z63 280mm to price drop again :(

    • hell yeah.

  • The 280 unit is cheaper if you can pick up at umart 189+shipping /pick up.

    • cheap! i got mine for 199

  • I'll get this now for the 5600X I wanted to get (it's pretty much useless on a 3100, right?)

    • Is get some kind of AIO, the 5600 runs a bit hot - even the second Gen 3600 runs a bit hot tbh.

  • I had a 3100 as a sub-in until I got my 5600x; I'm sure you would get some improvement, but the 5600x runs way hotter under load. Incidentally I picked one of these up today, too!
