I picked up a MUCH BETTER (compared to the L340) Lenovo Legion 5 with Ryzen 7 4800H, 16GB DDR4 3200MHZ RAM (dual channel), 512GB NVME SSD, GTX 1660TI 6GB graphics, 300nit 144hz IPS display and the RGB keyboard for only $65 more than this including delivery. A much better value and mine arrived in brand new condition with a new battery (YMMV).

^ There is the current catalogue of official Lenovo refurbs on Grays online though. There's a Legion Slim 7 on there with an i7 and RTX 2060 MQ that could be worth considering.
I highly recommende to AVOID greys, they have fake price gouging, bidding. Been following their practice for a while, plus they have heaps of stupid and unreasonable charges on top of the bidding price when you win. Avoid.

Grays has plenty of other issues… their site that's barely changed for years on years, their bazillion car auctions that are listed per car as individual auctions instead of under a single auction entry, so they fill any searching you're doing for, say 'Pick up only auctions' in your state.
And yeah, I'd hardly call the final sale prices on these lenovo sales 'good'. They always look like they'll be great prices until the final hour or so of a given auction, then they start nudging retail prices.
@drazenm: Agreed- avoid them. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. If you have any trouble at all with the product you receive they won't help you.
In 2018 I purchased two of their Lenovo refurbs and had problems with both (one arrived with a smashed screen, the second had overheating and BSOD issues on start up). Trying to get them repaired/replaced was an absolute nightmare, and they wouldn't accept a return. I spent an entire week of my lunch breaks on the phone to them and sent countless emails.
In the end I had to threaten them with legal action through consumer affairs to get them to accept one unit (that had arrived with a completely smashed screen) as a return. The second unit was "repaired". It came back with the same overheating/BSOD issue. They wouldn't accept a return. I gave up at that stage because I could not be stuffed going through the call/email circus over the $800 I paid.

I never said what i received was brand new, i just said it was in brand new condition with a brand new battery, still refurbished at the end of the day.

Brand new condition = removed from packaging but barely any use
Refurb = Someone wiped the data back to factory and is selling used condition, usually little to no warranty.
Difference with OEM refurb is they will replace any cosmetic damaged parts and replace battery and give you the full standard OEM warranty. They restore to "as new" condition before sale.
@Agret: So if it's removed from packaging with barely any use, why did it need a new battery? I am confused. Just standard procedure? I would double-check you'd get a genuine branded battery.

Pretty decent 1650 laptop. Works well as a stereotypical gaming laptop if you don't want those modern gaming laptop features (Battery life, build quality, high-spec screen)

For general use, there are a few. My Alienware m15 is pretty decent with it 90Whr battery.
Of course no gaming laptop can game on battery for long.
Asus Zephyrus g14 and G15 have pretty good battery life
I can get 7-8 hrs on my g14 for web browsing and video.

@Zackeroo: I have the 1650ti variant as I got it for a good price during the afterpay eBay sale as I already have a 3070 desktop. I think the 1660ti version is the sweet spot for the 2020 release on price vs performance. Love the G14 to bits as it's light but powerful, well built with decent speakers and amazing battery life.
Note the 2021 release supports 100W USBC charging vs 65W charging and does make turning off the GPU easier than the 2020 model which requires a few setting adjustments to get the expected battery life when not gaming.
The Asus Zephyrus G14 is a perfect example of both battery life and gaming performance in a ~ ultrabook form factor

I bought this two years ago. Was pretty good at the time however some of the downsides are the weight, battery life and screen brightness. Handles the Witcher 3 on medium settings pretty well.

Mine is collecting dust ever since I stopped working at the office. I think my one is the top of the line version. i.e i7, 16 gb ram…how far the price has fallen.
The keyboard is alright (i feel my older y510p had a better one). The gpu did its job for its time.
