We have just released a new Mother's Day Mystery Box! This box contains 30 titles from across our inventory, for just $100. It includes a range of novels covering literature, crime and romance, and will also contain some cookery, lifestyle, mindfulness and other non-fiction categories. Our goal is to include a diverse enough assortment to keep just about all mothers happy!

Get Mother's Day shopping done and dusted a month in advance (potentially for 30 more years too, if you ration it out to be 1 book per year…personally we recommend just handing her the box, but it's your call).

As always, shipping is free to any address within Australia, and we ship from Melbourne.

If your mum has a favourite genre, perhaps we have a box that suits her taste to a T. Here's a link to our other available boxes.

          This deal is a mystery box, so the selection varies. If you'd like a Mother's Day selection that you can see what is included, we do also have this box available. Less books, but also less mystery. And as Doowyah mentioned, we do also have other genre boxes with book lists included!

We actually do have a hardcover only box currently in stock: The Hard Hitting History box! I've also just asked our book buyer for you and have heard that we'll be putting out a hard cover only Crime box next week, as well. Hoping that helps, and apologies again.

              @jv: I have bought mystery boxes from Bookgrocer before and found them to be great. You usually get about 10 extra books compared to the boxes that have the titles listed.

      So 'technically', they could give you either to meet their legal obigations.

        It also means they are marked - usually on the edge of the pages

        And that the author's don't get any royalties from the sale (just the advance they have already gotten)

    Hi book grocer,

    I picked up a box from your last deal, it was an adult summer fiction i believe

    These boxes are a great idea, specially for people like me who are stuck at home most of the time, i work from home as well and the brain is pretty burnt out, choosing individual books is in the too hard basket, choosing a genre i can do :D

    I am hoping to get through my box by the end of the year! Big call, but better reading than watching TV/screens :)

      Hi there, we don't have any investment-specific boxes, however we do have two business-specific boxes at the moment that might be of interest: Business Bargain Box 3 and Business Bargain Box 2. Hopefully that helps!
