Does this mean you need to join by the 16th but can make a $20+ beyond this date and still qualify for the bonus $10, or do you have to join and make a $20+ purchase by the 16th?

If you join and make a purchase of $20+ before midnight on the 16th you'll earn $10. From the 17th onwards you'll earn $5 if you make a successful purchase of $20+.

    Jamjar is that you?

    • That one still hasn’t paid the remaining balance in my account, lol.

      • Same here, and no sign of a $10 bonus I was meant to get either.

        • Kicha, are you referring to Jamjar or our $10 bonus with Kickback?

      • Sorry about that, we can't help you with that one hawkeye93! Hope you get it sorted.

    • Haha no no, it is not Jamjar ;)

  • Another cashback website without any innovative idea to attract new customers. Why cant they think of a better way to track purchase other than clicking a link through the website or use extension? Sick of chasing after declined cashback

    • Shoot us your innovative ideas – we're all ears.

I'll shoot you my innovative ideas. Hire me first.

    Serious question.

Why should I use you instead of Shopback and Cashrewards?

    • Good question. Unlike Cashrewards and Shopback, we're the first Australian cashback company to let users search over 9,000,000+ products on Kickback. Let's say you want to buy a pair of Apple AirPods, you can search for this on Kickback and it'll display all of the stores that sell AirPods along with the amount of cashback you'll earn, shipping options, payment methods and more. We're also further developing membership tiers designed to give you cash bonuses the more you shop through Kickback.

      • So a product search engine and cashback comparison tool built in? If it works well that actually sounds good.

From a retailer's perspective, they are providing the cashback in order to increase sales. IMHO a lot of cashback is happening these days which doesn't affect the purchase decision, and therefore isn't driving much value to the retailer. If the retailer knows that their competitive pricing / shipping / cashback is going to get them increased sales through your comparison tool, that might help incentivize them to participate more strongly with the program.

Hope you do well, Kickback. More competition is a good thing.

  • Hi everyone. We're Australia's newest cashback site and we'd love you to try Kickback out.

No. Market saturated. Go think of another idea. Plus your name just reminds me of politicians…

    • because you want to kick them in their backs?

    • Sure, if you think so. Over 25 million people live in Australia and only two cashback businesses exist here; a little competition is good!

Not seeing much point joining. I didn't cherry pick these stores, I just picked some at random and searched for the current rate on all 3 sites.

    • Thanks for the table.
Deals for a few dollars bonus cashback usually get hundreds of votes (like this one $3 Bonus Cashback on $30 Spend).
This deal is $10 bonus for $20 spend and also has the advantage of putting you above the minimum to withdraw.
I might give it a try if I find something to buy on aliexpress.

Sure, but it's just a signup bonus. You currently get $10 with both shopback and cashrewards if you are a new user and use a referral after spending $20 so basically the same deal as this (with the exception of not needing to use a referral to get it). This site just has the benefit of being new so you likely don't have an account with them but I don't think it's worth joining for the signup bonus when I'm never going to use the website based on the above rates.

To each their own I guess.

      • That's great to hear lorikeet, we look forward to having you onboard! Aliexpress is a treasure-trove full of gems. Have fun shopping.

Fairplay, Hintswen. Unfortunately, we're a small team in regional Aus, so we don't have the resources just yet to smash out higher cashback rates. However, we offer other handy tools like membership tiers and a product search tool to search and compare 9,000,000+ products on site. Baby steps!

  • op i clicked on the picture link to sign up but only shows $5 referral and $1 for the extension install. will another $5 show up in the history after i make a $20 purchase and when is the deadline to do that?

    • Coolsteps, you're spot on. Another $5 will show up provided you make a purchase of $20+ before midnight on the 16th of April meaning you will earn $10 in total. Should you make a purchase of $20+ after the 16th then you'll earn $5. Finally, if you don’t keep your cashback account active then yes, your cashback expire after one year. Easy fix, keep shopping or withdraw it.

  • op does you cash back expire after 1 year?

For a newcomer to a crowded cashback market, the lack of replies and engagement is not at all encouraging

    • "If you have any Q's, just shout". So it was said. No promises made about replying though lol

      • It is I, Cache. How can I help?

    • +1

      Hey GreenGuava, apologies – I don't work weekends ;)

This space has long been dominated by 2 major players. So a little healthy competition is good.

I would like to see the ability to use coupons/promo vouchers without them being listed on your site. When you have this I will sign up.
