  I'm about 15 hours in and while it looks absolutely amazing on my ps5 and it is pretty fun i'm starting to get a little bored with it. I'm not finding much variety in things to do. It's all pretty much liberating outposts farcry style. I'm going to stick with it though and see how it pans out. At this price it's a no brainer!

    There is a bit of that. I find the awesome swordplay, amazing graphics and fun side quests (especially discovering shrines, the platform physics) makes up for a bit of tedium, especially in the first third of Tsushima (there’s less as you move north).

      Had the same feeling… It's a beautiful game, some great ideas. Wind as guide… How cool! That NPCs that you need to follow run when you run! Revolutionary!!! :D

      But repetitive at times… Enjoying it though. Great style and sword fighting feels good!

    Turn the difficulty up, and go for perfect parties and dodges. In my opinion the fun comes from mastering the systems until you're seamlessly flowing between lethal maneuvers.

  Have played about 3-4hrs. It's a beautiful game but I can see why it lost out to TLOU2 for GOTY

  Heard that the sword combat system is really good but I thought it was quite underwhelming especially after having played Sekiro and Nioh which were much more technical. The enemy AI also feels poor

    The combat actually has a lot of variety, but 3-4 hours you won't see that yet.

    One example is the different stances, where each one will affect different enemies. So like the shield guys, you need a certain stance, the big dudes, you need a certain stance etc..

    However, thats more mid-late game, where you'll find yourself constantly switching between them + they bring out a different combat style late game. Also, recommend playing on the hardest difficulty and trying out some of the mythical tale bosses, they are not dark souls level hard but they do provide some difficulty and can be interesting to fight.

  Just bought it - It's $29 if you buy on amazon app and use the code 10app. Fantastic price. I'm in no rush to play, so will happily wait.
