  • Title says Electric Screwdriver but that's not correct. Still a good price for the normal one.

my apologies, thank you for pointing that out. I have now fixed it

    • Mine is still collecting dust sealed. Good price for ppl need it

why do people like bragging on this site about the money they've wasted buying stuff they don't use?

        • +10

To tell ppl do not make the same mistake as I did. If you don't need it NOW or your are not 100% sure you are going to use it anytime soon. Don't buy it.

      • Not really, you might need them one day and you won't have the luxury of waiting two weeks for delivery.

I accidently spilled a glass of water on my laptop on a Sunday afternoon and the water had seep through the laptop and started dripping through the bottom vents.

Since I had the tools I was able to remove the laptop apart and quickly dry the mainboard and other components. Bought a Electronic Circuit Board Cleaner Spray and sprayed everywhere including the difficult to reach areas such as the power supply circuit.

My laptop is working fine and at a minimum saved a couple of hundred dollars in service cost and also Time was of the essence as any time delay decreases the probability of saving the equipment.

In summary even though you may only use the tools infrequently it would be worth the investment if you will use it one day.

        • Exactly this, better to buy and have on hand.

  • Hi…some comments/reviews on the Kogan site stating that the USB-A is output and the USB-C is an input port on the powerbank, ie can’t charge other devices with the USB-C port. Is anyone able to confirm this? Thanks.

    • yes thats correct - more details here

this model - Xiaomi ZMI Aura QB822 20000mah - offers 27W PD and QC via USB A and USB C ports. $29 delivered with Kogan First

    • can you pls confirm the shipping charge? I will edit the post

    • Correct, no free shipping for that product.

      • 45.99 to Melbourne 3000

QB822 is a great power bank

    • +1

I bought one from an earlier Kogan deals and I find it’s great. It’ll charge phones multiple times, put nearly 65% capacity into my 13” MacBook if I’m not using it, and it hardly even registers when I charge watches. The only issue I have is when I top up the power bank the display never goes above ‘79’, but it’s still got plenty of juice so I’m not complaining.

      • Sold. Going to grab one soon. Still have a Xiaomi Power Bank 2 10000mah from a long time ago. It makes a hissing sound whenever its outputting. Still works tho.

        • At this price they’re good value. I forgot to mention I’m pleased with the size and weight, too, so one of them would be ideal to pack for a multi-day hike without adding too much to your gear.

  • Any recommendation on quick charge 10'000 power banks?

  • It’s not an all time low price for the ZMI QB822, I bought one for that price a month or so ago.

    • I paid around that for qb823.

      • That's a good deal, but not obtainable for most of us as it's a one-off.

  • can I cancel kogan first after I placed the order? Or they won't ship out if I cancel it.

  • Shame, was looking for this and now my First membership had lapsed! :(

    • Use another email address? Shipping address would be simple, just add ‘Suite 123’ to your normal one and it becomes unique (increment the Suite number each time you create a new one). The only sticking point would be if they’re like Amazon and keep track of your CC and which account it’s used for.

  • I was literally looking at the ZMI QB822 last night, the cheapest I could find was at the MI store for $60 delivered. Thanks OP got it for $29, super happy.

Kogan delivery was total sh*t for me

Almost 4mths for a xiaomi Web cam at the price listed from Ozbargain.

    Terrible.

  • How's Xiaomi's scale? I'm still using a Bluetooth one I got from Kmart. What are good reasons to upgrade? One is that the Kmart one doesn't store measurements between syncs, so you have to be connected every time you weigh yourself to store the data. Does Xiaomi's do that? Is it more accurate? Does it measure more stuff? Also, searching for posts on it here, we see it went down from $49 to $35 to $29 to $25 and now to $18. I believe that's the lowest ever. What's wrong with it? Or are they coming out with a new model?

    • Oh wait, I see… This one doesn't do body composition (there's no metal conductors on the base to pass the current). That one does.

And the price history I saw is for the body composition one. I guess this one is better for people not advised to have that impedance measurement done—e.g. people wearing pacemakers—or who just doesn't need/believe in it.

  • No free shipping for my postcode

  • I received a damaged repacked battery last time (from this deal —> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/612354) from Kogan and had to go through the whole lengthy return process to get my money back. Also, I had to involved PayPal, so no more buying from Kogan.

  • So what do you guys think is the better one of the two powerbanks listed?
    Thanks!
