    I absolutely love the original trilogy but I can't get into GoW (2018). Not sure if the first two games ever made it to PS4 though.

      Honestly. After you get to the lake give it another two hours. I found it slow going - and now think it’s the best game I’ve ever played

    Very different titles.
    This is more akin to Devil May Cry, whereas GoW (2018) is an action adventure.

    For what its worth, I'm not into this, but I am 2018. and as you can see from other comments, others have a different perspective.

      Nothing if you don’t, but it helps if somehow people already claimed and forgot, so they don’t need to purchase another copy.

    Technically from the PS+ giveaway you don't own the game. You don't own any full license to play the game but it's tied to the PS+ subscription. The retail disc gives you an unlimited license to play regardless of PS Plus.

    So there's a benefit to having a retail copy.

    I wouldn’t bother. They are old school hack and slash. Great fun but in no way do you need to play them to ‘get’ the ps4 god of war. It’s a masterpiece in its own right and playing the others isn’t worth the time (that’s just my opinion from a dad with three kids who is time limited in playing games)
