  I wouldn't park long term, you will never know if the border closes again and what not, so the car gets stuck over 21 days.

  Just get a taxi and what not and save the hassle

    Would there be any advantages to parking at the airport instead of getting picked up and dropped off by taxi or uber? Surely it wouldn't cost over $100 each way for an uber ride

      Probably just business travelers that got appointments on either side of flights, more control on the exact timing. The cars can also act as storage in the meantime as well.

      Don't think there is much point for leisure travel.

      Try going from the outskirts of sydney avalon, hornsby , windsor , penrith and a taxi will run you prob somewhere about $200 each way

  As a well credentialled OzBargain member, not only do I not drive to the international terminal in Sydney I do not even catch the train to the international terminal. Rather, I take the train to Wolli and walk back. $15 saving and free exercise for 16 minutes.

    Even better to park in Tempe and walk across the Tempe reserve - probably a couple of minutes faster.

  I park near Marsh St Arncliffe. Free curbisde no time limit. 10 mins walk to Intl Terminal over the bridge :)
