    Based on the box photo, this looks to be the non-bluetooth version (so requires a Philips Hub)

      I believe there's a button on the back that lets you cycle though a few different colours and combinations. But for full usability you'll need a hub. I have the newer version and i love it. I use mine as a bit of accent lighting behind my series x and ps5.

    I picked mine up for $69 during BF 2020. If you don't urgently need one, and let's face, it's probably not an urgent purchase, keep your eyes open for this years Prime Day and BF deals. You'll likely score one at a decent price.

    Bunnings deleted item $69 on clearance but can get for a low as $20 if u ask their is stock at vic Bunnings stores

    They have a few other things listed. Dimmer switch $24, motion sensor $39. If you have bayonet bulbs, the hub+dimmer+3x bulbs kit for $199 if pretty good, especially if you already have a hub and can offload it.
