For those who haven't played it, you get one 'life/try' at completing the game, when you die, you go back to square one.
You get to keep some things, most things you don't! Eventually you start to push through with upgrades, and each attempt is different to the layman.
I'm no expert and only ran through it once after a nice hard slog! I actually thought i had beaten the game.. But there was plenty more, very worth the time/money!
the dialogues kept it interesting as well. Feel a lot less repetitive than other rogue lite.
For the ones that don't have time/patience to handle the difficulty challenges (not judging), the game has a "god mode" option, where every time you die, you get a +2% permanent damage resistance. God mode doesn't reduce any story content or achievements.
ALSO, cross save (between platforms).

Brilliant game - rogue lite one life retry, a bit like an isometric hack and slash version of dead cells but with - in my opinion - better upgrades.
I’ve pumped plenty of time into it, definitely worth $30.
Brilliant game. It's been a long time since I've had a game entice me in so much with 'just one more'.

The beauty of the switch works well, you can have a quick go on the way home, or anywhere really, then put it down and have a breather, or just throw your switch at the wall 😉

Yeah dont get this game.
I kind of had enough after spending 150 hours on it.
I was worried controls would not be as good on Switch as PC. Controls are great on Switch. It's $48 physical at JB and Amazon for those who prefer that.
Best game I've ever played. So much so that it gave my RSI in my thumb and I've had to limit myself to one run every 2 days to prevent recurrence.
