Why are they being so generous lately?
People have cut back on spending, especially luxuries like takeaway. Lots of places trying to entice you to spend with bonus offers, money off etc and expect to see more in the months to come.
Im assuming with easing restrictions on eating out, businesses like Menulog are starting to see a decline in their services. Thats my take anyways

Yes, in the app it's one of the filters after you enter your address and search for restaurants, the three lines to the right of the magnifying glass at the top of the screen (on ios at least). Otherwise on the website via a computer it says to the right of every restaurant in the search results if they are delivered by menulog or the restaurant, but there isn't a filter for it there that I can see.

They don’t price jack, but are passing on the commission that menulog gets to you the consumer.
I am not sure if you both are referring to price jacking for this deal or just for the use of menulog in general. I doubt any restaurants pricejack in relation to running promo's but I believe some restaurants choose to either close the app on their end earlier or don't go online at all. One restaurant I wanted to order from which is less then 10 minutes drive away closed their menulog orders at about 6:45pm however the actual store closes at 8pm.
In general the individual item prices are higher in menulog and other delivery apps than the in-store menus. McDonald's is one example but I have certainly noticed it with non-franchise restaurants as well. In the case of the Turkish restaurant I ordered pick-up from tonight, the pizza is $18 in-store and $20 on menulog. Still cheaper overall via menulog with this discount.
I still wonder how the discount works though. I wouldn't be surprised if the restaurants were sharing some of the loss with Menulog.
Tried multiple accounts but says restaurant not valid with this code. Also tried a few different restaurants. I'm in Adelaide. Anyone manage to o get it to work?
I find that most restaurants are cheaper if you order direct from them. I see what I want on menulog then contact directly, plus then they get all the money instead of giving a stupid amount to menulog.
