  • The TV was that price, but you are getting the $149 3D Bluray Player for FREE.

  • IPS Polarizer? hmmm

    • That sounds very cheap

  • Does it come with a Simpsons Bluray?

    • -2

yeah, it knows what brand TV it is connected to and just goes "doh, doh, doh"

  • soniq can afford to go cheaper, many brand names coming in around this price now

  • positive for the simpsons and the tv

  • +1

On a side note, the soniq 50" sd plasma was going for 499 @ jb at the boxing day sales. Works well with tv and kiddy dvds … soniq seem to have the right balance between price and quality. The other famous 32" fhd lcd still going strong.

    • Yep, I've got the same 32" & a few friends with other Soniq models, I also tend to agree that they represent fair value for money. I'm actually quite impressed by the LCD units with IPS panels, for the money the image quality is excellent!

I'm surprised that someone hasn't posted this as a bargain: http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/plasma-lcd-tvs/lcd%20tv/soniq…

Seriously, if someone had told you 5yrs ago that in 2012 you'd be able to get a full HD 42" LCD with IPS panel for $399 you'd have thought they were bonkers! ;)
