Kopparberg Cider Varieties 500ml 3 for $9.03 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Dan Murphy's (Membership Required)

1480

Shows as 3 for $15 for members but when added to cart and signed in the price drops to $9.03 and will increment for every 3 bottles bought. Tried a few stores across a few states for pick up and the price was the same everywhere I looked.

Bought a couple of varieties before posting.

  • That's super tempting…

Edit, can anyone confirm if this is in store as well?

Nice deal, I still have plenty left from this deal

    • The wife had ran out from that deal so I was looking for more, that's how I stumbled across it.

      • Yes I bought them to share with my wife but she's not a big drinker and I prefer beer so will take a while to finish.

  • Warning, these do not taste good. Hasn't stopped me in the past though

    • Not like the rokkordalig ones?

      • +5

I found these taste better than Rekorderlig

    • +6

Kopparberg and Rekorderlig are sweeter than some other ciders like James Squire etc. May not be to everyone's taste but I love the elderflower and lime cider

    • +2

They're just lolly waters, not ciders. Taste is fine but i'd rather not be consuming all that sugar. Even at $9 for 3 you are paying far too much.

  • +1

Cheers ordered three of each flavour.

Mixed fruits is coming in at $13.00 but still cheap enough.

    • Must be store specific, I just picked the Melbourne QV store and it shows as $9.

  • They use cheap chinese apple cider concentrates. Ok to get you pissed but the flavour is not so great.

You're making claims which your source does not even say.

“made from local and imported ingredients” which industry insiders say is code for using concentrates, mostly imported from China.

That is not evidence. That is believing people on Facebook that say COVID-19 is a hoax.

      • All I was getting at is if you buy a cider made from Australian crushed apples and try one of these and you will be able to tell the difference immediatley, the Kopparbergs etc will taste artifical in comparison. I'm not telling people to not buy them though. Here's some more info:

Ok I get your point. news.com.au was just a bad choice to reference.

Having said that, I think you're being pedantic about cider ingredients. Using 100% straight not-from-concentrate juice makes a good cider but it's also expensive.

Having brewed my own, IMO using concentrates and boosting alcohol with sugars is a good compromise if you want a cheaper drink.

Ordered, 10mins and already ready for pick up

    • How long to smash them down the throat?

      • +1

        That's what she said.

  • Tastes like cough syrup. But I still drank them.

Discount on the $15 is 5.97 bringing it to $15.

$15 is working for nonmembers ($5.97 discount). Members getting another $5.97 discount off $15; so its a price error; but a good one.

    • +1

You've cracked the case. That'd definitely be it.

  • my local store also has 6x 330ml strawberry & lime cans for $14 (Burwood brickworks, vic)… ended up with a six pack of brook vale ginger beer instead.

    • +1

      6x330ml=1980ml @ $14 is 141.42ml per $1

      3x500ml=1500ml @ $9.03 is 166.11ml per $1

Still a good deal but more bang for buck here

      • +1

My local has 440 mL cans for $15 for 6.

This 3x500 deal works out to be $6.02/L, the 440x6 works out to $5.68/L plus comes in smaller portions which is a win in my books.

However the elderflower and lime is not available in the cans so grabbed the bottles! Cheers!

        • +1

That's the ozb way. $/L. $/standard drink is the next level 😁

          • @gunslinger: In this case, they all had the same ABV, but I certainly think $/L of alcohol content is a great measure of comparison too

    • Edit, they’re 6x 440ml all varieties not 330 ml as originally stated

  • Ordered 3 thanks op
    Missus loves these

  • No longer working?
I signed in and it didn't change the price

    • +1

Nevermind, it has to be 3 of the same variety

  • Thanks OP!

  • Seems to work up to 12 bottles, $36.12 for 12 but added another 3 and the price for me doubled.

  • Good deal, thanks OP! Got x3 strawberry and lime and x3 apple and passionfruit, I haven't tried the passionfruit before I hope it's okay. The mixed fruit was showing up at a few dollars more for some reason so I didn't get those ones.

  • Great deal OP!

    Got 36 bottles (12 x Elderflower, 12 x Strawberry & Lime, 12 x Mixed Fruit) for $115 incl. delivery. Not bad!

    • I got the same; but went the passionfruit/apple instead of the mixed fruit. Should keep the flat mate away from the beers for a while.

  • I ordered 9 each of 3 types for delivery - got the invoice showing 9 of each paid via email…. Just checked my account and they have reduced one of the types to 4 ordered and awaiting picking… Someone doing something dodgy at Dans…

  • Nice deal, got three of each

  • Thanks op. 12 bottles for $36, nice find !

  • …so much sugar!

  • Loved these the last time the deal came up and ordered some last night, But they’ve accidentally given me the Rekordelig ones instead

  • I bought these last deal… this cider is so sweet! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it less sweet? Can it be mixed with soda water or something else to dilute it?

    • Soda water works for me with other overly sweet booze. You'll be drinking a lot of liquid to get a buzz though. This is already only 4% alcohol!
