I believe it has a Ebay site under viesturs_autoparts. Has 98% feedback on that site. Says UK, but site address Latvia. https://www.ebay.com.au/str/viestursautoparts.

Reply from Ebay seller reasonably quick so far.

Thanks for comments in advance

Update. Ordered from. Divi. Item arrived from Latvi to Melb 3weeks. Item well packed, but 1 item did have a scratch on it. So a little disappointed, but can live with it. Would still buy again. if I needed something else.

Why do you want second hand parts from 0S? Surely thevpostage is going to kill any savings you might get on parts prices.

Half expected this to be a new member spamming.

They sell new parts and it works out cheaper on the item I am after even with postage. Cheaper on the main site than thru their Ebay site. Not everything posted needs to be spam. I think the delivery time may be my main issue, but willing to try as the saving is probably worth the try.

The part I am after is not readily available in Aus at moment or cheaper from what I can research. Hence the reason for the OZB Scam check on company. Member's here are on point in outing shifty sites.

It’s just normal for anyone posting a site like that from an ‘unusual’ location that it’s the owner of the site spamming us trying to get hits on a scam site.

I’m not going to comment on wether it’s a legit site, but it has all the correct contact info that is often missing from scam sites.

        • Thanks for your last constructive comment. I do understand the forum section is full of 1 time spammers and time wasters. I have been sucked in plenty of times. Now I just try and not respond to new user's with no previous posts.

Why not just order through their eBay then for slightly extra protection? If something goes wrong and eBay won’t handle it you've got PayPal, if they won’t handle it CC charge back.

Do partsouq.com have the part? I’ve heard of a few guys successfully using them for patrol parts and saving buckets of money despite the high shipping costs.

    • Thanks for your conments. Yeah maybe paying the extra through Ebay link rather than their own site would provide a bit of extra protection on purchase. It is still slightly cheaper on the Ebay site than other local site.

      • How much is the part through the website, how much through eBay, and how much locally?

        • Minimal. $80, $115, and $135 locally. No stock locally.

Wanting to source a car part from this company

Why? Is it something very weird?

    • It's not weird just a part not readily available here at moment. This company sells the part I am after other than a local supplier.

      • Is it a Renault part? Because nearly all of their parts are weird ;)

        • Yeah ok. It's a Renault part. So if you think all their parts are weird. Just hard to get parts to Aus

          • @Melb69: I was fairly certain it was a Renault part, I was just poking fun at you.
It’s ok though because I kind of want a Mahindra, I just need them to sponsor me or something…

            • @mapax: I appreciate the good humour. I'm stuck with a Renault now till the wheels fall off. The other issue now is it is overdue for a service. Not looking forward to that. I think every warning light is on at the moment.

      • What's the part?

        • It's an external body part. Not a spoiler

I have bought parts for my MB from Latvia on a couple of occasions with no problems. Shipping was reasonable and delivery quick.

  • You're probably far better off looking for a forum or similar for whatever make of vehicle it is and asking there as they're far more likely to have encountered the site than someone on an Australian bargain forum.

    • Have already tried dedicated sites. This is more to check if the Ozber's think it's an ok idea to try these guys.

Half the parts I buy overseas for Euro trash wagons seems to come from Latvia. I don’t know if it is from this store or if this store trades under different names. But if they offer PayPal, why not give it a go.

Order something small and relatively inexpensive first, then if that comes through, hit them up for the bigger ticket items…

I have emailed the company for stock and will give them a try either through the website or Ebay depending on how quickly they respond next week.. Thanks all so far to all for comments. Pegs again your comments appreciated.
