      Urgh except when the 10% doesn't work and it takes 6 weeks to be activated. I missed 2 months of 10% off cos they took forever to activate it on my account. And then when I finally went to use it online, the code didn't work. Woolworths online chat helped out by giving me a voucher to use that was equal to 10% off my cart but told me to chat with Woolworths Insurance. I spoke to Woolworths Insurance and since I boosted offers, I couldn't use the 10% off code - they referred to the T&C that say can't be used with any other offer or promotion which include boosters… I complained then that I can't "unboost" the offers.

    The T&Cs in the post clearly say it’s only 3% off wish and 4% off Woolworths.

    The only 5% off is BigW. This is the same as Other exisiting offers. OP should update the post.

    If they are 5% you have a huge winner . Not BigW widely available at 5% .

    Thank you, bought. With 10% discount on 2 rewards cards (1 with insurance, 1 with prepaid), I'm now paying 86.4% for everything I buy at Woolworths twice a month.

        He probably means he's using the 10% off you get for having a WW insurance or mobile plan plus the 4% saving by paying with discounted gift cards, and I'm just going to trust his/her maths that it's 13.6% (because the 4% isn't off the total it will be off the price after the 10% has already been deducted so it won't be 14 technically).

          Yes that's right. Reverse maths:

          It costs $96 for a $100 gift card. $100 gift card buys $111.10 worth of goods. So 96/111.10 = 86.4% is what I'm actually paying.

    The insurance is way more expensive than what I currently pay with RAC (WA), plus RAC includes motor burn out, cover for accidental glass breakage etc.

    Woolworths also flat out refuse to insure you if someone in the house has any kind of criminal conviction in the last 5 years, no matter what it is. You could have been done for blowing 0.051 and technically that means Woolworths won't cover your home & contents.

      Not sure if this will help anyone but their current T&Cs say the following:

      “WISH Gift Card” means one of the following Gift Cards issued by us to you either as a
      Physical Gift Card or an eGift Card:
      a) WISH Gift Card;
      b) Woolworths Supermarkets Gift Card;
      c) BIG W Gift Card;
      d) Caltex Woolworths co-branded Petrol Gift Card;
      e) BWS Gift Card;
      f) Dan Murphy’s Gift Card;
      g) Woolworths Liquor Gift Card;
      h) Cellarmasters Gift Card; or
      i) The card with heart WISH Gift Card.
      6.1 Your WISH Gift Card can be Redeemed for goods and services from Participating Stores up to the value loaded onto your WISH Gift Card. Value Redeemed is deducted from the Card Balance.

      I've used a Caltex Petrol Gift Card pretty much everywhere so this seems to imply that any one of these will be treated like a WISH card. This would imply the best thing to do would be to purchase a Big W card, cause it'll do the same thing, I think. If anyone runs into restrictions, let me know.

        Big W gc will only work @ Big W now. Gone are the days when Big W & Dan Murphy's gcs work as normal WISH gcs :(

              Few weeks ago. Not sure if it's any help but specifically Caltex Woolworths co-branded Petrol Gift Card. Sorry, I may have exaggerated when I said 'everywhere', but I did go to woolies, BIG W (online), Caltex and BWS, but there isn't a DM or Cellarmasters nearby so can't say there. Works perfectly fine these places though…

              On the DM side of things, I did use this card a while back, but I don't think that'll hold since it was years ago.

              Anyway, I was convinced that they all would work interchangeably but now not so much, I'd best be careful!

      Add them to your wallet in the Everyday Rewards app and it will use up all your gift cards to pay for the total, no need to do them manually / one at a time.

      Yeah WISH is the only 1 of the those 3 that will work for petrol. There is an EG Fuel gift card that will also work, but WISH gives you more flexibility.

    The price jack for insurance products is real. Coles was sharper price wise but still have one product with them. Just need to be better organised with GCs
