  • Has anyone got one of these? Is this a good price?

    • 20% less than normal price on Amazon. The only other place you can get this is the manufacturer's website.

    • It's a good price. Kind of useless on it's own though.

      • The Gateway can be used with in-soil water sensors.

        • Yes, useful if you're going to buy other sensors as well.
But if you're considering a full weather station you might be better off with a package.

    • Pretty good for tracking temperature and humidity. Have since added an outdoor and sensor for another room.
Only issue I had was when initially setting up needed to turn off turn off 5Ghz Wifi on my wireless router to allow it to all join correclty (was mainly a phone issue).

Has anyone got one of these?

I'm sure someone would have bought one at some stage.

      Is this a good price?

      I doubt it.

Looks good. I want one but don't know weather I will get one or not.

  • Why do people use these weather station things?

    • +2

Cos they're cool and kinda hot.

    • +2

To have something to talk about in case they bump into Jane Bunn

  • Good thing that OP is being very Transparent.

  • Cant even find the plant moisture sensors, shame.

    • Do a search for "WH51" on eBay. Stacks out there….. There's also "WH0291" which is the sensor with a separate LCD monitor (so it costs more).

      • Thanks, searching WH51 on Ebay there is 1 seller with 1 unit in stock and they have a 97.6% feedback.

  • Do these work with other brands? I have the pan tech model (from an eBay deal) which looks the same but just with different branding.

  • Hi OP,

I want a multi room temp monitoring system. What's the product code for your wifi temp sensor that can be installed in different room and communicate with this gateway?

    • WH31 from memory (up to 8 different sensors can be connected) and 1 x WH32 (outdoor sensor)
