Logitech Harmony 300 Universal Remote $12 @ Kmart

690

I was at Kmart Indooroopilly when i saw this.

Logitech Harmony 300 Universal Remote on clearance for $12.

There was quite a few in stock. Office works have it on clearance for $15 but all sold out.

I think all Kmarts have the same national price.

Aldi $15. How do these go with the Logitech Revue?

    • +3

      $10 at Aldi.

      • +1

Can you really get these logitech harmony for $10 at ALDI?

I'm thinking about purchasing a couple of these to be used by my kids for accessing their favourite movies and TV shows stored on my ATV by click of a single button.

Are you saying that Aldi have them for this price currently? It would be nice to clarify that please because if it is not a current offer from Aldi then it is not helpful.

        • +1

They're a clearance item, if you shop around you can find them for $10 each.

I picked one up at Aldi Carindale (Brisbane) this week, had about 30 left on the shelf.

        • At LEAST 30 left at Aldi Carindale yesterday afternoon for $9.99.

        • aldi sunny park had it for $8.99, still plenty in stock this morning.

bought it… not sure why… i guesd i've been ozbargained!

I'd also like to know if this works with the Logitech Revue.

    • You can set up Harmony to work with lots of different devices really - that is how our range works. Just check to see if the Harmony 300 will do as many as you need controlled i.e. TV/Stereo/DVD/Revue/Foxtel etc more info available here; http://www.logitech.com/en-au/remotes?overview

Are they worth having? Work well with Austar Mystar HD?

    • +5

I love mine from a previous deal. The setup is made very easy, just type in brand and model and it auto-programs very well OR worst case, if you have the old remote it can "learn" functions from them. For the price, it's fantastic. Only thing worth mentioning is the single macro function button. The remote only has one "Watch TV" button. For me that is more then sufficient but for others that really need a "Watch Movie" or "Play Game" macros might be disappointed. As I said, fantastic device for it's asking price.

Exactly right - I like mine and it is dead simple, however the extra macros would be great if your willing to spend more.

what's the different between this model 300 and 300i? only the glossy finish or something else? I cant find 300i on logitech's website.

        • Yes just the glossy finish.

      • +1

I lost my virginity on a couch and still cant find it.

        • .

        • +4

Have you still got the box it came in? :p

        • That's gold!!

  • +1

anyone know if these work with foxtel IQ? or fetch TV

    • +1

These would use the same remote codes database as the other harmony remotes, so foxtel will def work with no issues.

    • You do know that the Foxtel Remote can be reprogrammed also?
I have it reprogrammed to also operate my TV & surround System.

      • Yes you can program it to control those devices - but this remote won't have the dedicated Pay TV buttons like say the 600, 700 etc

  • does it work with foxtel?

  • +4

To everyone wanting to know…these work fine with Foxtel & about a million other devices… I have had various Harmony remotes over ther years and they are perfect. Even use one to control Air Con & Lighting in the house. :)

    • Which model do you have?

  • +1

    None at Kmart maddington :(

    • So go to Aldi Maddington… whereever that is.

Or go to Officeworks and beat by 5%. Try to get them to do the Aldi price first.

  • +1

Awesome deal - got the last one at Chermside

    • and here I was thinking it would be a good idea to go shopping tomorrow…

Just in case the Logitech 200 is going foor 10$ at Coles (Barkly Square, VIC), not sure about other Coles, in the event u can't find the 300 in stock :)

    • +1

Yep, $9 at my locals too! :)

    • Got it for $10 at Coles Chirnside Park. Took me a few minutes to set up and another 5 minutes to personalise and has been great since. Thanks for the heads up greenlantern! :o)

I saw this at Footscray Melbourne Kmart too

  • +1

Bummer… non in Aldi Franklin St and no Kmart in the city…. would love to get my hands on one of these…

  • +2

Price matched at office works because none left at local kmart's $11.40

    • +1

I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks :o)

    • +1

How do you do it? I mean aside from this post there's no catalogue etc - do they phone up Kmart?

      • +4

I pricematched a keyboard at OW today with MSY. A lady did it, she didn't know much about computer/electronics. Didn't even check stock level. She just check the price and beat it by another 5%.
Try pricematch with a sales that doesn't looks like they know much. Should be easier

  • Kmart mt omanney has 1 left.

  • K-Mart Chermside allegedly put one aside, but could never find it at pickup time. JB won't price match.
Sold out everywhere in Northside Brisbane. None at Aldi Albany Creek, and the K-Marts and OfficeWorks around the place :(
Let us know if you find any!!!

  • OW: N/A Hobart and discontinued model. Their system shows there are only 5 still listed Aus wide

  • None at Armadale WA. Apparently it's been on clearance for two weeks.

  • got one this morning at aldi kelvin grove (not sure how many they had)

  • +1

Just grabbed one from Aldi Carindale. $9.99 and about 20 left.

  • aldi sunny park (opposite sunnybank plaza) had it for $8.99, still plenty in stock this morning.

    • +1

      best $9 i ever spent!

worked perfectly with my sony tv, ps3, noontec v9-t and my media center!

      • with your ps3? Is that using a logitech ps3 adaptor?

        • Yeah you need the PS3 Adaptor as the PS3 doesn't have IR and the Harmony's don't have Bluetooth - our team worked with Sony's to produce the adaptor to work with Harmony.

  • +1

This is great stuff, I bought 1 for 15 from logitech shop 1 year ago, like it!

    • Which model did you get?

  • at sydney city, anyone?
