Mostly find One Big Switch to be very far from a bargain. Eg. their Origin Special Energy Deal just puts you on the gov't regulated/mandated default price; "Usage and supply charges are the same as the Victorian Default Offer reference price for 12 months, however other charges may change."

    • Agree. One Big Switch is designed to line the pockets of its owners, far more than its customers. Give this one a wide berth if you don't like getting fleeced.

    • The default offer is laughable.

That said, I believe people should be rewarded for doing their own diligence.

    Welcome to 2021, Pam.
This is not a deal as you have to sign up to over-priced products / services for a measly $50 prepaid card. HARD PASS!

  • what has my name got to do with it, I broke the nectr $200 gift card deal and still get free electricity a year later

  • Switch 2…thought it was the Nintendo Switch Pro. 😅

Yep, then you realise what DocC said above 😆

  • One Big Switch is part owned by Rupert Murdoch… pass…

    • looks like a One Big Fail

these criticisms are on almost all deals like this

  • gee, not much of a reward for changing two services …

  • I changed energy suppliers in 2020 and got a much better deal by shopping around. One big switch tried to get me to go through their energy saving program, was atleast 20% more expensive then going through tango. I swear it's like origin and AGL pay for access to their customer base to get crap deals
