  • Do I get the 150gb if it is just a recharge?

    • it's sim kit, not recharge pin

    • Buy the starter sim pack then when you get it speak to someone at boost and get them to transfer your existing number to the new sim. You’ll get the bonus data then.

  • can existing customers use this deal?

    • Yes. But it’ll give you a new number.

  • We need to start putting tutorials into these for all the people who have questions about porting out and back in to boost.

    • So you port out/ in to get the 120gb bonus?
      When is the activation expiry?

      • +1

You port your existing number to another provider, which normally takes about an hour if it’s done during business hours Monday to Friday.

You’ll normally be sent a text to confirm that you are porting out, and then once activated on the other providers network, activate the Boost starter kit and bring your number back..

I’ve ported out and back in within an hour in the past.

Just be careful because some providers want you to purchase a recharge to activate a prepaid service, and some also ask for credit card details.

Getting another providers starter kit has always been my preferred way to port out, and deals come up on those quite a bit

      • Activation expiry is probably something the seller could answer

      • You don’t need to.

Buy the starter sim pack then when you get it speak to someone at boost and get them to transfer your existing number to the new sim. You’ll get the bonus data then.

  • When does the sim have to be activated by for the bonus 120gb?

  • +1

Thanks OP. You should probably point out that while the Express delivery is free, the standard delivery has postage cost of $2.49. The difference in total cost between the two being 89c.

  • Hey OP,
Tried to cancel an order straight away after ordering due to change of address (resubmitted the order), second order has been posted but now the original refund has been rejected, are you able to assist?

    • sure, we will contact ebay to check what happened.

  • Good deal. But Data reverts to core data of 30GB for subsequent $200 recharges.
    What an interesting business model.
Churning is the name of the game.

    • This is Boost promotion, should you have any questions, you can visit https://boost.com.au/pages/get-help

      • No, no questions.
I've several members on the older grandfathered boost $150/year plan that can be renewed with 80gb with o/s call and just can't find a better plan up to now.
Good thing 80gb is enough for them

        • +1

Yep, they are lucky. Boost $150 12 month/80GB offer ended on 30 June 2020, and the offer only valid for renewal if they activated the sim before 10 August 2020.
