Picked two of these up this evening at Officeworks Townsville.

Just gave them a shot and they sound pretty damn good for the $54.

Altec Lansing offers two apps that work with this - Music Mix and Alarm mode. Music Mix allows you to have a partner or friend plug their iPod/iPhone in and it shuffles between the two iDevices - at a set percentage (so you can set your wifes shuffle priority to 30% and yours to 70%!).

I bought mine for an Alarm, but it's already proving to be my own little corner speaker setup in my cramped room.

    Does it have an FM Radio?

      Nah, no FM radio - it is very barebones and basically uses the iPod controls as everything.

      Just tried out the Alarm app and it is awesome - you get to choose the song you get to wake up to from your iPod. It is amazing!

      If you were going to go in and grab one but have anymore questions, let me know and I can try it out on my one.

        I was about to say, for those (other brands/models) that has FM radio, whether there's frequency noise interference given that the phone sits just above it? When I have my iPhone lying next to my radio alarm clock with FM radio on, the interference is pretty bad.

    Oh well I'll just use TuneIn app for radio.

    Dick Smith has them for $134. So $54 is very cheap.

      There is stock somewhere. You need to sign up so the site can work out if it's near enough to you for delivery. A bit lame, but that's OfficeWorks.
