Incredibly cheap, was $9 for prime day, $12.50 at Coles 'everyday low price'. I think the previous cheapest Amazon deal was $7.99 in 2019. Camels.

However the minimum order is 2 = 2.2kg of Skittles. Not for the casual consumer. Great if you are having a party though.

Edit: More discounted grocery items here. Might be on clearance.

Thanks OP, this is one of those buy now think of the consequences later purchases. Too cheap to pass up

Any good vodka deals to pair it with? Gonna need a bucket too.

  • +5

Min order 2.2kg. Is there S&S for insulin as well?

    • Yes, but it’s not on sale.

You probably need a dentist visit as well.

  • cheapest Amazon deal was $7.99 in 2019

Actually it was $4.80 last October (Prime Day), and it's now cheaper :)

    Total:$13.95
    Promotion(s) Applied:-$9.15
    Gift Card Amount:-$4.80

Is anybody else subscribing and then cancelling the subscription before then next one is shipped? I've done it about 10 times now, with no issues. I feel that amazon don't care about the loop hole

    • +4

its more that you'd forget when it rolls around 30 days later so they can make two sales off you instead of a one time preying on classic forgetfulness

      • +1

I just set it to be in 6 months next time. this gives me some space to remember and cancel

        • I do exactly the same thing! Because well I know myself and how I forget about stuff.

          • @allabtbrgnz: They email you a week or so in advance before shipping the next S&S anyway, so there's not really any excuse to forget to cancel.

            • @bonezAU: Yeah, I think they only started doing that recently though. I got the first one ever recently. Some time ago things would just ship out without warning.

I found it was just easier to cancel the sub & save when the item arrived with prime, but without prime it's easier to keep 1 subscription active so you keep getting free shipping on subsequent sub & save purchases.

              • +1

@hamza23: I wasn't aware they only started notifying people recently, I'm pretty sure the very first time I used S&S (quite a while back now), one of the selling points was "Don't worry, we'll email you before we ship your next item - cancel any time".

I have actually got one item that I do use S&S for regularly, the rest of them I often use as a once off to get discount then cancel later. At least they do let us know now before shipping unlike what you were saying they did in the past.

    • +6

Don't worry, one day you will forget that one subscription and all your "savings" will be overshadowed by that 1 extra item. Amazon isn't stupid - they want you to play this "game".

      • +2

Of course they know what people do. I filled out one of their surveys sent to me about S&S, one of the multiple choice options was "I only use it to get a discount".

    • +1

Cancelling multiple subscriptions at once is made purposefully annoying too (you can't), so no guilt here.

    • +9

I did that once, but Bezos called me up and told me to stop.

      • did you?

    • Sweet, you can do this to avoid the delivery fee?

I looked up subscribe and save terms, and it says that first delivery may incur a fee and:

      "
Each scheduled shipment is free. If you want your first shipment sooner, you can either meet the minimum spend or pay the usual fee.
      ".

Does this mean that you get free delivery, but its the slowest option?

Thanks Hamza, 12xSchweppes 1.1L Blood Orange bottles for $5.20 is great too, appreciate the link.

  • Skittles are awesome, but the Lemon & Lime Solo did it for me. It's hard to find in Supermarkets these days.

  • Max quantity I can enter for the order is 3, can you put in multiple sub and save orders to get more than 3 overall and also get the free shipping on each order?

  • Twisties showing $27 S&S for me.

  • Looks like everything will be gone by morning. For once staying up late has paid off. Managed to grab the protein balls and kettle chips.

Edit some more items on sale:

    Schweppes Tonic Water, 24 x 200ml 40% off - $15
    Schweppes Dry Ginger Ale, 24 x 200ml 40% off - $15

The Amazon comments said its made in china. Ugh…

    • +6

Skittles been Made in China for a while now. Same as the one from the supermarkets.

      • +1

When I bought it in 2018, it said made in Australia (and the images still do), hence the comments.

    • +1

Finally received mine and guess what? Made in Australia.

      • Hi5?

  • +2

    Damn missed the party ;(

  • +1

    OzBargain never sleeps…

    • I always sleep on good bargains…

  • No S&S available anymore for the skittles and delivery is between 2-5 weeks now.

  • +2

Sold out. I'm glad I missed this, I don't need 2.2kg of skittles.

    • +3

I came in here 3 times in temptation..
      also glad I missed out

  • So is it no free shipping anymore for s&s items for non-prime members?

    • It seems to work still, if you have an active subscription. I currently get free shipping for S&S without prime using that method.

If you don't have any active subscriptions, you can reactivate an old one then after a while the free shipping on future S&S items should appear, but I try to have 1 subscription active so it's easy to order if something pops up. Setting 6 months in advance when purchasing.
