I was chasing one of these and missed out on the Ebay deal recently which brought it down to $1100. This is an even better catch at this price.
Original Coupon Deal
Reckon they will match the coupon price at jbhifi? Can use GC there to make it sub $1k?
Is this QLED or OLED? Stupid question but website just says ULED 4K
It's QLED. ULED is Hisense's in-house nomenclature for QLED. btw, it's an excellent TV. I have the 75Q8 and the blacks are so very very close to OLED - for a fraction of the OLED price.
Would this be any good as a computer monitor?
I was contemplating between this and the Sony x9000h. Purely for ps5 use, I ended up going the Sony, as this hisense doesn’t have hdmi 2.1. Just FYI for those wanting this for ps5.
True, anyone gaming on tv, better consider HDMI 2.1. Hisense 2021 lineup does come hdmi 2.1
I'm wondering if the PS5 would ever use the full bandwith of HDMI 2.1 as I think it's either 4K or 120 fps and not both at the same time
The PS5 box has 8K written on the front so i can only assume they have plans to fully saturate your 2.1 connection.
Damn it just paid $1900 for Sony X9500H…
Hmm might grab this for the bedroom and then get the new 65" 2021 model as the primary in the living room.
Current have no TV at all :(
This would be good. I have the 65" version. Love it!
I was tempted a month or so ago when they did the sales on the 65" Q8 though tried hard to hold off until the new release as I am looking to hopefully do some gaming down later on.
Though I will also pair both TV's up with an apple tv4k
What's the consensus with Hisense TV? Always thought its a budget TV. I never owned a Hisense products before
Hisense Q8 series tv's are excellent. Smart OS is next to useless, but that doesn't matter.
Anyone with the 55" who is able to comment on the red ghosting issue? How much of an issue is this and can it be resolved/minimised by adjusting the settings?
Had the Q8 55 for a couple days now. I'm no TV expert but haven't noticed any ghosting.
Pretty happy with it so far. (I'd say very happy but I don't know enough about TV's to commit to that)
