yeah i'd agree especially for the battery sake. I bought my Gear S3 ~April 2017 & board changed under warranty March 2019 (which they also replaced my battery so it must be tied somehow) and she's still rocking today.
YT premium is $12 P/m.

PSA: I bought this last week and there's a chance it may not be fully compatible with your phone. I own a Nokia and the catch cannot reply notifications (e.g. Whatsapp messages), can only view. I read only that this issue has been around for 6 months with no fix in sight.

No I haven't, with less than 8 hours left to decide! I made an inaccurate comment that Watch Active 3 has launched, I got confused with Watch 3, sorry. Still… The dilemma is real, since I feel the Watch Active 2 has been around for some time.

I've been thinking the same since I saw this deal. It comes out to approx 260 AUD with the comm bank offer but it's not a stellar deal.
Also, despite the fact that active watch 2 is great, active watch 4 (there won't be active watch 3 apparently) will come out in July. And there's a rumour that Samsung might switch to Google Wear OS.
So I guess I'll wait it out considering I am using a galaxy watch and that's been working great for me.PS - In US, Samsung is selling Active 2 for 70 USD on their official website. Australian pricing is pretty crazy for this old product
I'm glad you think the same. I feel the 2 has been around for some time, and should be at the $220-280 range (for example) to make sense. I wished I held a comm bank account though, I would actually buy it as the missus's birthday is coming up already. And yes, annoyed that it's extraordinarily pricier here in Aus!
