    I don't think you should be charging a laptop with 18W. It would discharge faster than it charges.

    I've actually charged my laptop with an 18w PD brick before. It throws up a warning note about it potentially not having enough power to charge properly, but has managed to get it charged nonetheless. I've only ever done it while it's shut down or sleeping. I haven't tried using it for an extended period while plugged into the 18w brick.
