        Breville is smaller and churns less. Good for a single room. Cost $99. We have it (as well a much larger one) at home, and work very well for a small-ish room/office.

        Quality of things sold by/branded TaoTronic can be patchy.

        Imagine trying to find filter for that in the future too…

        If anyone is going to go cheap, might as well DIY with box fan and HEPA filter.

    They say they last 3 to 6 months but they will probably last longer.

    When you start to smell that smell you had forgotten about again, that would probably be the best time to change the filter.

    As for price? That is a great question and I will let you know as soon as I find out.

      Start to smell is not relevant.

      HEPA filters out particle where as the activated charcoal layer filters our the smell.

      No smell does not mean particle free air. Reckless advice, esp for ones with asthma and severe allergy.

    They will cost around $25-30.

    I will try to apply some pressure to keep it as close to $25 as possible.
