    Approach with caution: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1753231

Check your local MSY or Harris Technology for a cheaper price:

    $859 ($709) @ HT - http://www.ht.com.au/part/Z7569-Lenovo-IdeaPad-Y560P-Core-i7…

    $859 ($709) @ MSY - http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7951

*Unsure if same specs, look similar except GFX

    • Graphics is different, included in this is a 2GB GT555M. The links you have provided is the older Y560 models, the Y570 is newer.

Here's a link to Whirlpool with people who have made the purchase, maybe send them a whim for their experience: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1852726

    • MSY was showing $849 a moment ago…

    • In comparision, the Y570 supports switchable graphic/usb 3.0 and has a number pad (which makes some other keys smaller). $749 is barely ok but not close to good. I have a y560 and z570. Tbh I think the 70s look bit ugly and less consistent.

Also the CPU is actually i7-2670QM. 2630QM is (2.0G/2.9G).

      • $749 is a good deal for those specs. try to find any other laptop with those specs at that price, specially a GT555M

      • By the $/performance ratio this is not a great deal. Thats what i meant, most of the deals here are unique but it doesn't mean all of them are good deals.

        • can you find a better deal than the $749 Y570 atm $/performance ratio wise?

        • The $599 y560p from centrecom not long ago. Not to mention there are a lot of Acer/HP i7s floating around.

    • Avoid the Haymarket store. The guys at Clarence St are fine. They're barely a 15 minute walk apart.

  • orange it is legit. And this price on these specs are way better then the old y560 model.

  • I have the Z570, bought it from Centercom last week and after cash back and claiming Tax back through my partners work it ended up costing us $303, now thats a bargain!!

Shame i can't buy you all one for that price.

  • again with the fracken non-HD screen!?!?!

    • gosh 1366x768 has been the standard for a number of years now.. yes it sux.. but if u want high res go customise a dell or an asus

      • I did go Dell - XPS 15 with usb 3 ports

    • Technically it's better than HD (1280x720). What you mean is Full HD (1920x1080).

  • Purchased the same laptop minus the USB 3.0 ports from Orange IT three months ago. Very satisfied with it.
