    What a shame, Mother's Day is over…..

I'm pretty sure it's a post Mother's Day clearance, they didn't seem like very good gifts for Mother's Day though, may be why they're now clearance.

Am I the first to comment on the Americanized name? It should be a fairy floss maker!

    • Am I the first to comment on the Americanised spelling? It’s Americanised!

How easy is it to make fairy floss and more importantly to clean the machine?

    • +3

I had a similar machine years ago, but a bit higher spec. I would confidently say that it would be amazing if that fairy floss came out like the pics… I would always spend heaps of time and get fairy floss that would be dense, gritty, and never ever fluffed up and full.

On a semi-related note, persian fairy floss is awesome. It's so fine and silky, almost like you are gobbling up the fur of loing-haired chinchilla…

  • Kmart should sell these

  • so has anyone else tried this Aust Post fairy floss machine?
works well? or just a waste of money?

(not expecting something extraordinary, but something for the kids to have fun at the party)

    bought first, then ask questions.

    • It takes a while but eventually produces a decent ball of floss.

It may look like a toy but it's not. The metal spinner gets very hot.
